I'm sure this is a very nice salon for hair and fingernails, but they really need to update their online booking if they don't do gel toes. I was going to book online but decided to call to see if this was a pedicure, or just gel application on the toes. The receptionist, Amber, said they "don't do anything with toes". Their booking website and a few of their employee bios say otherwise. I'm really glad my friend and I didn't book for that day and show up expecting to have our toes done. My hair stylist moved here from her last salon so I followed her, and my first impression was "Ah! This street is so busy, why here?" We had a little trouble getting here because the street was packed so I ended up having to jump out as fast as I could due to the traffic. That's my only reasoning for 4 stars. I made an appointment to get a blowout for the morning of my Birthday. When I arrived at the salon there was no one there. I sent multiple messages to the owner via Instagram PM. I called and left a message at the salon. I stood in the snow for 20 minutes on my Birthday, no one ever came. My messages via Instagram or voicemail were never returned (even though they were seen). They were even aware that I made the appointment for my Birthday. It ruined all of my Birthday plans for the entire day. I was appalled that no one reached out to me to apologize or make it right. For years I searched for a place like Blush! The salon itself is so bright and beautiful and welcoming and the people inside are just the same. I've had my hair done by a few of the stylists here and they're all so incredibly talented. Sam, the owner, and her assistant Maddy, are who I see regularly and I've never felt more comfortable sitting in a salon chair in my life. You need to have a hair dresser that you completely trust ... it's life changing! I know the money I'm spending is worth it because Sam's work is always incredible. She honest and knowledgeable about hair and I never leave disappointed or uninformed. The hair care products they sell are also so great! My hair game in between appointments has definitely stepped it up, thanks to the products I've been suggested to use. I look forward to my appointments every few months because it's such a great time every time I step inside of Blush's doors! They also offer a handful of other incredible services here that I have yet to try (a brow appointment next week!) but have seen incredible work from on social media as well. I have been wanting to write this review for awhile. Got my services in May and it has been a lot of proofs of their bad customer service At least what I had experience. I wanted to venture out in a playful color. Mind you my first time. Showed my inspo photo and I got a recommendation since they don't have that particular color. My appointment was at 2:15. I was there at 2. My appointment didn't start until 3:30. I know right. I was told she was gonna be "20 mins late" I was just in the lobby and I was just there nothing was said or done. Then the stylist came after being an hour and 15 mins late. Nothing was compensated or said. I brushed it off since its been awhile for a needed mommy make over. Everything since fine until it was about to be styled and she had noticed something off and needed to add more color. So we put more color and waited. It was late my appointment was at 3:30 we finished at 8:30 ish. I was tired, kids waiting at home so I had seen photos and was fine with it. But Not until I had washed it for the first time after 3 days and all the color striped off. I used a store bought shampoo because I was waiting for my shipment of hair color shampoo but even with that it shouldn't have not washed in 1 wash. It was patchy and uneven. I even called my old hairstylist , my friend who is a hair colorist and a cousin in hair school and they all said it was botched. I called that same day. I was told the stylist was gonna reach out. Days passed nothing. Called again. I was told that maybe it was the shampoo but they agree not in 1 wash. They are very bad with communicating and getting back. I was offered a 20% products to use for my hair. I was baffled. Days passed I spoke to the "manager" I was offered to "redo" the hair to reapply more color. I said to myself okay sure we'll try that. The day of the supposed appointment that I was told came and I went. I checked in nothing was said. She was late again. When she came I was told my appointment was not that day but next week. I was furious. I called spoke to the "manager" and I was told to come in at a later time same day. So I went. To my surprise I was just in the washing sink the whole time. Here's the most disappointing part. I wasn't told what procedure was gonna be done. I was put there and was just there. At the end of the appointment I realize they didn't redo the color but just masked it with a color correction conditioner. I was told to buy all these products to have better outcome. So I did worth 120 bucks. I still loved the color it turned out but after getting home I noticed the patching and the uneven color was still there. So I decided to try their products for a week. First shower with their product I noticed they gave me a open bottle of the color correcting conditioner that they use to supposed "redo" my hair. How messed up is that?!!! By the book how they explained to me. And guess what?! Nothing changed. It was all bull. I called and asked for the manager and was told "she'll take a message and call me back" well guess what its been a month and nothing. What a great customer service! They suck. read more

This salon has such a good vibe. Every stylist is chatting with everyone. It feels very inclusive, and positive. You can tell the women who work here are happy to work here. Which happy stylists means freaking kick butt hair. Sam has been doing my hair for about a year now and I love it. This last time Shawni worked on my side cut and I love her for it. I spent over 300 dollars on my hair. I went to the owner. She lightened my hair and it broke off. She ruined my hair cut. It's completely uneven. It's so damaged I can't do anything with it anymore. After we finished, she just said to buy all these expensive products instead of offering to fix it or help me repair the damage that she caused. I have to pay someone over 400 dollars to get this fixed. My hair has never looked this bad. The owner also over charged me regardless. She said it's 50 an hour and booked me until 630 when we got done at 330. She still took that extra money and didn't give it back. I said before I left "so I gave you 320?" This is the cutest little salon and does amazing work! It doesn't really stick out from the street but when you walk in you feel like you're in a whole different world. It is decorated so cute and all of the staff is so sweet. The prices are average to high, but they take their time on your hair and do an amazing job. This is a very cute small business! I discovered them on Instagram go check it out. They also do much more than haircoloring, there are microblading and lash experts as well as nail artists. Their page has a profile for every stylist and each stylist has their own instagrams to show off their work. I went to Kelsey she did a great job on my black(or very dark brown) hair. I chose her because she had a lot of pictures on her instagram off brunettes.She also texted me the day before to ask what my hair looked like and my "hair goals". I loved that she did that, so she could know before hand what I wanted. You know how sometimes at the salon you feel like you are waiting FOREVER for your hair to absorb the chemicals or whatever ? Well it never seemed like I was just sitting around waiting. It was a very fun and young enviorment. Parking is a little limited since it is on Washington but I just parked across the street. I recommend looking at their Instagram to decide which stylists will work better for your hairtype. Keep in mind each stylist has their own price points. read more

I am absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism this salon has. I started seeing Christine in 2014 at a different salon and followed her to blush beauty. She had done my hair so many times and I felt comfortable with her and driving an additional 20 minutes out of my way wasn't a big deal to me. That all changed after covid happened. My hair grew out a bunch and she put some highlights in it. I realized that it wasnt quiet what I wanted and I was left with some chunky looking pieces in the front(think kelly clarkson early 2000s). I like to have just a solid color. I'm not sure if asking her if I could come back in offended her or she simply didn't have the time in her schedule to accommodate but she lied to the owner and told her that she didn't feel comfortable doing my hair anymore due to me having a chemical burn about 10 years prior to this(at a different salon). She then proceeded to go into my account and NOTATE THAT I HAD A REACTION in the past with her when I didn't. Instead of fixing a problem she proceeded to dump me as a client. I then started talking with Sam(the owner). Even after being slandered to all the other stylists by Christine I was willing to still see someone else. I ended up having to cancel last minute because I had COVID symptoms, rebooked and ended up canceling WELL over a week in advance due to my grandmother passing away. I went to reschedule and was denied any and all appointments and was told by Sam that I was no longer welcome at the salon due to calling and canceling. She also stated that by me asking about what products would be used she felt like they could not make me happy. Since when does being informed make you a bad client!?! All I wanted was for someone to fix my problem and nobody was willing to put the lies, rumors, and pride aside to do that. Over the years I have sent several of my friends and family to this salon but I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone again. I literally cannot rave enough about how amazing this salon is!!!!! I had my hair done by Kelsey. I had a horrible brassy yellow colored highlights that didn't even look like highlights, more like just straight blonde because my previous hair dresser had not left out enough hair to give dimension and difference between the dark and light. She turned me into the perfect silvery blonde that I had been trying to achieve for the past few years. Once we took the foils out, I mentioned that for next time I wanted to be a tad bit lighter (it usually takes a few tries with a hairdresser for them to find out exactly how you like it), but rather than wait till next time, she immediately threw a few more foils in my hair to achieve that perfect blonde I had envisioned. She stayed after closing for almost 2 hours to make sure I loved it! While I was there I had mentioned that I wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed. Kelsey highly recommended a girl that worked in the salon, Lexi. I just went in for my microblading appointment with Lexi yesterday and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! She took a good 35-40 mins mapping out the perfect brows before we got started, happily changing them until I was perfectly happy with them (I am the pickiest perfectionist ever so this was amazing that she took the time to make sure I was 150% happy with them before starting). She made the procedure not as painful because she was so incredibly personable and fun to talk to that she kept my mind off the fact that a blade was near my eyes LOL! Once we finished I was absolutely IN LOVE with how perfect my brows turned out! All around this salon definitely has my business from here forward! :) read more

Renee did such an amazing job on my hair, I can't even describe it. I was a very dark purple/blackish color, and decided to bleach my own hair at home. I turned out completely orange, it was so bad I had to hide under a wig and a hoodie. I called the salon at 10 am, and Renee was able to see me at 2:30. Not only did she do an INCREDIBLE job on my hair, but she was the coolest person to talk to and kept me laughing the whole time.
