I had S as a hairdresser and was discounted from the very beginning in her belief in her ability to deliver what I wanted (ombré on chin length hair). She instead said my hair was too short and suggested some subtle highlights. I wanted something drastic and fun, which the highlights were not. I asked her to put some more brighter blonde in to blend with the highlights she put in to attempt the ombré effect. I left with white blonde streaks that were in no way branded and were randomly throughout my head. I also left with a wet head be fixing the mistake ran into her other appointment. I got home and hated it, I called the next day and spoke with the receptionist expressing my disappointment, but was told that the hairstylists are independent and are not managed by the salon. I left a message with my phone number. S called me back and expressed that she thought the lighter highlights were a bad idea and that my hair was too short for what I wanted (I've seen pixies with ombré) and that she hoped I was able to find Sonoran that could give me what I wanted. I asked her if it would be ok to dye it red or brown and she suggested red because of the stripped hair and how it would take on the brown. She never made an offer to have me back in to fix her mistakes or to make me happy. I was also disappointed that the salon does not have any procedures to rectify unhappy customers.

Jaclynn was fantastic and made the experience fun and exciting! She took her time and made sure my cut was exactly what I came for! First off, many masseuses are super concerned and careful when you tell them "please just do whatever it takes to get the knots out. You can literally punch me in the back, I assure you." Well, she didn't punch me, far from it. However, she DID do exactly what I asked and put her all into getting the stubborn knots out. This takes some serious pressure, and I felt immensely relieved afterward. Brooke was my stylist and I liked her a lot. She's got a personality that really resonated with me, and I liked her vibe. I came to her with brown hair and left with electric blue. She did a good job and it was a fun day! The only thing I didn't like was whatever dye they use at Axis. Brooke said they do organic, vegan, animal-friendly whatever stuff as much as possible, and I don't recall exactly what brand the dye was...but it faded and transferred more and faster than any other vivid I've ever had, and I've had a lot!
