We are always greeted at the entrance. To get a ticket is easy. Inside appeared clean and had plenty seating. Virginia helped with getting my son's license and temp tag. She was very friendly. Daniel was the person that helped get my vehicle plated/ registered. us, and he provided excellent customer service, he was a pleasure to work with. I wanted to the black out plates and he quoted my registration for 2 years telling me that would save money as I'd only be charged $45 one time for the black out plates (usually if you have special plates you have to pay every year with registration). I was appreciative that he shared this information with me as I'm always looking for ways to save money and went with this option. The whole process took about 20 minutes. I was very pleased with this visit and the outcome.

While waiting, closer to opening time, 2 women came out to divide the lines between testing and other matters. They came around to verify what each person was coming in for to determine if they had everything that was needed before even entering the building. When you came in, you were provided with a ticket and a counter to go to by a staff member to get things started. My agent was professional, nice and friendly. They staff worked as one, communicating what they needed and at times already anticipating what was going to happen to get whatever was needed done. I was there as most would say 30 minutes or less because I had several things I needed to do but trust if you need anything else, it's a quick in and out. The place is clean yet small. There's less waiting seating than there is work stations so that lets you know they mean to get you in and out. Definitely go here if you want to be treated kindly with no fuss or hassle with your time in consideration.

Lots of seat, but also a TON of stations (11 total, I think) and the line moves FAST. I've been here twice in the last few months, and the wait is never as long as it seems to be. Staff are friendly-ish, and that is great for a busy BMV. Plenty of parking.

They now have a "take a number" method, and then you sit in and open area. They go through the numbers quickly, which is beneficial for those sitting and waiting, however they only give each number called about 3 seconds before moving onto the next. This causes some confusion for families who's native language is not English, or those who go to the vestibule to wait and get other things done. It causes some friction when a number is skipped and then they return. Overall, I got my plates handled quickly and the employee who worked with me had patience as I fumbled through my paperwork. Overall I'm impressed with how their efficiency has improved.

Getting a new DL is an easy transaction but you don't get it on site. They send it to you via Mail. Everyone was polite, courteous and focused. Sanitizing after each customer is routine.

As soon as you enter the lobby, there is a bank of BMV Connect terminals (unfortunately they were down for maintenance currently). I walked into the large service area and grabbed a number. I've not been in this BMV before, and I was surprised how spacious it is with adequate seating. When it's your turn, a clerk will call your number on the overhead speaker and direct you to the appropriately numbered booth. Although there were 21 people ahead of me, there were at least 18 work stations in operation, so I waited maybe 15 minutes. Nikki was the employee who helped me and she was both friendly and efficient. My transaction took five minutes tops, and I was on my way. For a BMV visit, my experience wasn't bad!

What I'd like to know is why they're taking ppls IDs giving a piece of paper to people. That isn't accepted putting ppl in negative situations where they can't do anything. Just wait on their ID in the mail which isn't okay at all they say they destroy the IDs they take. We don't know that since they don't do it in front of us at all ever. With the post office stealing and throwing mail away. I don't put nothing past BMV employees to steal ppls IDs which they shouldn't be taking anyway. With ppl paying for them then to update they charge the full price. They come up with ways to get over on customers legally sadly the law allows it even though. It isn't right to be doing the way they're doing ppl. For ppl not to accept the paper ID ppl shouldn't wait. Almost two weeks to get their proper ID the BMV could at least shorten the time it takes to get it. Causing them to miss out on jobs and other things I don't get why ppl aren't speaking out against this. This is one of the things ppl need to come together for to bring a change for the better. They could careless which is why ppl need to come together to make them do better. Otherwise they'll keep doing customers the way want to no matter what or how it affects us

Thank goodness it was a gorgeous day. Once inside an employee asked what we were in for and checked the title for my son and told me to have a seat. The title wasn't completed correctly by the seller so we have a return trip to the closest BMV. I waited less than 5 minutes to see the next clerk. She was super friendly, efficient and had my registration completed quickly. This was a safe environment with mask, social distancing and limited number of guests allowed at a time. Efficient and friendly staff made the trip pleasant.

(you have 45 days to use your old plate on new car while waiting on title if you have a bill of sale) They said that was totally fine. So I go after work and have to argue with them for 25 minutes just about getting replacements for my car even after I called and made sure. They simply just kept saying nope can't do anything. I drive to the Plainfield one and they have me in and out with new plates and registration in under 3 minutes. Learn the rules management. Who power trips over a license plate?

This particular time I needed to change my address which meant i had to go in to a local office instead of completing online. They have a number ticket system in addition to booking appointments. I was number 180 and they called 177 when I walked in - so I knew it wouldn't be long. I was able to get all my transactions completed at once and very quickly. From growing up in Nevada where the DMV there is the bane of everyone's existence - this is always a welcomed surprise that it doesn't take long her in Indiana!
