We got a lawyer for $250 to tell us the company had protected itself in the fine print and we had no recourse. Now as we try to sell the house, it's going to cost us around $8,000 to replace the basement floors before the buyers will continue with the sale, if they even buy it now. We were told the inspector either lied by omission to help push the sale through, or they were incompetent and should not be certified to do this kind of work.
