G25 came back in fairly good condition if I had to rate the clean it would be a 4/10. Was not impressed by their lack of attention to detail. Kim was nice over the phone and took her 2+ weeks to call and get payment for the original service. Then a over a month later Andrew ( the owner) called me and was extremely unprofessional on trying to collect payment stemming from an issue with my card. I was more than willing to pay I had even missed their call from an unknown number and returned it immediately to get Andrew accusing me of dodging payment Clean was not worth $500, Kim was great but never followed up, and the owner Andrew was Unprofessional. We needed a reputable company to detail and help get our boat back into decent conditions. The decals were weathered and we had pretty realistic expectations on what the end result would be. When I called in for a quoted and described the condition of the boat, I was automatically quoted their highest package (along with $75/hr for decal removal apparently). Fine... I thought, you get what you pay for and it will be amazing! Our tech arrived bright and early and went to work. I did tell him to allocate only 1 hr to the decal removal and only focus on the side decals which he did. When he finally finished, it was past 8 pm, it was already too dark to even be able to inspect the boat. I'm no way is this a dig at him, he worked really hard. This morning I walked out to look at the bar and am not impressed. Lots of residue left which will have to be addressed by us. When I called in to pay my invoice, I voiced my concerns about the reside and was told that it could have been removed but of course that would have cost more money ( additions hours ). I was quoted $768 plus the hour at $75. They didn't mention a 3.5% administrative fee that they also tack on. I paid it, they were very matter of fact and very unapologetic. Not pleased, would not recommend and definitely not worth the price tag. Got hired @ this spot in hopes of finally finding a new job I could enjoy and be where I love to be on the water. People seemed cool @ first but 3 weeks into my new job I was still asking their GM Alex for my paperwork to get "officially hired in" trained with these clowns for 3 weeks learned how to detail boats & decided since Alex couldn't get me my paperwork in 3 weeks while Andrew (the owner) was off enjoying himself on a warm beach somewhere in Mexico that before I even officially get hired to just take my knowledge I learned and run. Since I started cleaning boats & cars on my own for myself I've come across lots of people in the lake community that all have the same thing to say about Andrew. He's a petty little man child that only cares about his income and nothing else & will act out and do very unprofessional things including not running his business correctly when hiring new people. read more

If I could give this company negative stars I would. They came to clean our boat without being able to contact my brother first for a yes. NEVER quoted us any type of amount. Only cleaned the interior(without our acknowledge) , claiming it took 8 hours (our boat is 21 feet) which is absurd. Then charged the credit card they had on file BECAUSE THEY SAID we need your credit card info to even "quote you" in the beginning which they NEVER did. They continue to charge my brothers card $685 which is a price that was NEVER DISCUSSED. We have tried to settle the price with him, but when talking to the owner, ANDREW, I was insulted, dismissed, and talked down to. Told me that I obviously didn't go to college because I don't understand how the world works. WELL IF YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED BY A COMPANY THEN INSULTED WHEN TRYING TO TALK TO THEM then this is the company to use . I've never been so insulted and treated SO terribly by a company in my life. I contacted Boat Beautiful to detail my Mastercraft X2 before summer lake season. They gave me a quote (by foot) and then told me that it might change if the boat required more work. First, they required me to let them borrow an extension cord in front of the house; unprepared. Next, they did not clean the entire boat; the bottom of the boat was not touched. The teak swim platform was not oiled. I brought these issues up and they did not offer to come finish saying "we never clean the bottom of boats". Kept asking are you sure our guys didnt oil it? I can tell you for sure they most certainly did not. I usually clean the boat myself and will go back to doing so, just thought I would see how well a "professional" could make her look; wrong choice. $517.50 invoice was sent with 4 day payment terms after they originally told me ~$350. They did call and let me know the cost would be higher after they already started working. I called to ask that I send a check instead of billing my card and they agreed. However, when I emailed back to get the address, they stated that they had already charged my card. I let him know I was not happy and would be writing a negative review here. Next the owner calls my cell phone to try and get me to not write this review. Some reason he throws out "we do not offer discounts", well sir I was not looking for a discount, only a good experience with quality work. Suggest to look for a better, more professionally run business to clean your boat....I know I will not make this mistake again. read more

Boat beautiful has been regularly washing not only my boat but my cars as well for the past 6 months or so and I could not more highly recommend their services. My quest for a good wash in Austin began years ago, and I was continuously frustrated by the retail washes giving me my car back dirty, not to mention scratched from using dirty rags. None of this is an issue with boat beautiful. Instead of your boat/car being "processed" by a turn and burn crew, there are one or two guys that meticulously comb over every detail until it's just right. It gets better though, in addition to the great wash - they come to you! Just set an appointment and enjoy the comfort of your home or office while your car or boat gets spiffy. The pricing is also comparable to what you would pay at a traditional wash, but again the level of quality is far superior. Andrew is very professional and easy to work with, and provides a high level of service explaining exactly what's going on with your car/boat in terms of the paint, finishes, waxing needs etc. The guys work really hard and you can tell they take pride in what they do. As someone who has tried every wash in central/west Austin I can't think of one single reason why you would go anywhere else for your detail needs! read more

I will not be using again.... paid for a full detail )$450)which came out fine. HOWEVER, at some point while putting the cover back on or at some point the detailer engaged the manual bilge pump lever which resulted in my pump burning up and needing to be replaced. Not a big deal but when i ask for potential reimbursement of approx $100, i was told by the owner Andrew H "there is nothing i can do". Well i find it problematic that they dont uphold good customer service and they have lost a customer and alot of return business from myself and fellow boaters over $100. read more

Biggest con boat cleaner in town. Stay away from them. I signed up for a twice monthly clean that was to be done on Mondays. Never came on Mondays always another day usually on Thursdays or Fridays when we were out in the boat. Sent emails they were coming 10 minutes before they showed up then charged us for the clean. They really need to go out of business and doing a con like this I am sure they will. Spoke to the owner and he was a rude as anybody I have ever spoke to that owned a business. Denied ever telling us they would come on Mondays cancelled by contract and charge us a $990 cancellation fee. Sent it to my attorney. read more

I moved my Sea Ray 320DA from a fresh water lake in North Carolina to Lake Conroe a year ago. I had used a detail service quarterly while the boat was in NC and the boat always looked better than the day it came out of the Sea Ray factory. After moving the boat to Texas I started looking for a detailer to continue to take care of my boat for me. I did an on-line search and found Boat Beautiful. Based on the information of services they provided I thought I had found just what I was looking for. I completed their on-line form and requested their Expert service on 5/7/15 and received notification they would be out to do my boat on 5/14/15. These guys did a terrible job. Not only did they not complete the job when they said they would but after they claim to have "Finished" the boat didn't look any better than before they started. Along with poor workmanship they left dock lines unsecured, canvas unzipped, and scratched the top of the hatch leading from the cockpit to the cabin. I sent a message to the owner of this company, Andrew Hayslip, outlining my disappointment in their workmanship and how they left my boat and I never received a response. If you are looking for a boat detailer to care for your boat on Lake Conroe I would not recommend you contact this company. read more

Boat Beautiful did a great job detailing our boat! The experience was great from start to finish. When scheduling an appointment, everything was explained very thoroughly (which I appreciated as I'd never had a detail done before). The day of our detail, I didn't even need to be home! Out of coincidence I was, and was not disappointed with the detailer that came out! Very professional and friendly. He was meticulous and made sure every nook and cranny of our boat was perfect - especially the outside! He got our color back in a way I didn't think would happen! We received our invoice via email and it was very easy to take care of payment as well. Bad experience with Boat Beautiful when they refused to honor a $500 gift certificate they donated to a charity auction. My appointment was delayed for two months due to rain. When they finally made it out to my house they immediately called me and tried to up charge an extra $400. They said the mold was so severe that it was going take the whole $500 and the mold probably wouldn't come out completely clean and it was going to take an extra $400 to wax the boat. The boat is stored outside with a nice custom cover. We expect the mold every year but it wasn't severe enough to charge $500 just to do the interior . Boat beautiful's office manager told me that my gift certificate for $500 wasn't for a detail it was for a basic clean. I've had cars detailed that were twice as bad as the boat for $350 and they came out looking amazing. Paying $500 for interior only sounded outrageous especially since my teenage daughter detailed the boat inside & out every year and it took 3/4 of day and I paid her $12 hr. Our boat is a nIce boat in really good condition. I relented and agreed to just have them do the interior. When I got home the upholstery looked great just like it does every year when my daughter does it. I looked down and noticed they didn't even touch carpet or anything else in the interior so I called them and said something about it. Next day they send a guy out and he cleans the lockers next to the engine. The didn't touch the carpet!!! By then I was done with these guys. A few months later I discovered they made an unauthorized charge to my credit card for $100. By coincidence I see a negative post about Boat Beautiful the owner Andrew Haislip and I comment on my experience. Low and behold the owner Andrew calls me leaves me a message. It takes two calls to him before he returns my call. Not sure why he reached out to me, he had no intentions on making the situation better. Needless to say he lectured me on Boat beautifuls high standards but wasn't willing to listen to me or refund my $100. That's all I wanted. I feel they really did me wrong on the $500 gift card but I was willing to take my lumps on that. Being that this was a gift card donated to a charity I would've thought they would've come out and do a bang up job and I would've gladly bragged on them and referred them to my neighbors with boats, But that's not how Andrew and Boat Beautiful does business. read more

Love these guys. We have had Boat Beautiful help us maintain our last 3 boats. That's a big reason why they have all maintained their "like new" appearance and have done well on resale. I'm pretty meticulous about my boat but they are great at doing the things that take a lot of work and expertise like removing the sun dried hard water spots, especially on black paint. Great guys. My Nautique G23 is just a year old and I had asked Boat Beautiful to clean my boat. The initial cleaning was unsatisfactory and even with a second cleaning my bimini remained dirty. They also damaged the vinyl about the throttle area in the cockpit and the owner disputes that his cleaning crew caused the pictured abrasion (on google review). Driving the boat and sitting in the cockpit while wearing a bathing suit would never cause this type of damage, but a vacuum hose would. If you value and cherish your boat I caution anyone thinking about hiring this company for cleaning of their boat. I will never recommend Boat Beautiful. read more
