This Sam's offers a combination of fish, meat, salads and pizza. The fish is the thing to get at Sam's, it will be local and good. But, I'm vegetarian so the pizza is great for me, the anti pasta is also great and there's a good choice of local beers and other nibbles. The service is good, very friendly and laid back, rocking up covered in sand and wearing flip flops is absolutely fine. So my pre Sam's tip is to go for a nice long walk and a swim along the coast, there's lots of gorgeous coves along the coast towards fowey.

It was 6 really small deep-fried fishless fishcakes on a bed of unseasoned undressed lettuce leaves, a couple of pieces of tomato and cucumber. Tasteless and boring. I'm pretty sure the only way they keep is business is by unsuspecting tourists walking past the door.
