Sometimes people - all "macho" men - will hog 2 or more machines at the same time. So you have to wait around for people who don't know SQUAT about how to work out. I've had this happen on numerous occasions. Gets tiresome. When you mention this to the staff, they don't do a thing to rectify the problem.

On top of that, she thought it was appropriate to wear her gym clothes and no indication that she works there. I had to ask if she worked at the gym. It's confusing to be in the middle of your set and interrupted in an unethical and moral way. As a young woman, I go to the gym to feel strong and sure of myself, not to be harassed by an employee of the y who is in the middle of their workout. It's hard for me to be in the weight area I general. Due to this experience, I no longer feel comfortable continuing to go to this Y. Hopefully in the future, the employees will be trained in how to approach those who go to the gym. For the future young women who have a hard time being comfortable in the weight area, if anything.

Came to Iron Horse Golf Club for a round while on the road back to California. There was no tee…read moretimes available, but the club staff went out of their way to introduce me to the senior mens group. Within a minute they invited me to join them for my first round at IHGC. The golf course is absolutely beautiful and a good test of skill. The regulars were very friendly and provided key tips when needed to navigate this great layout. All in all a perfect day on the links with a special group of golfers... and a staff that went the extra mile. Wish I lived nearby, but I'll be back soon!

The prices are very reasonable and we were happy we were allowed to bring in a reusable water bottle. There are a ton of lounge chairs to sit in. The pool features a special area for small kids with a few small slides and a dumb bucket, a larger pool area with deeper water and lanes marked for lap swimming, and a 0 entry slash around area with fountains. All areas are very fun and full of refreshing water! There is also ample clean restrooms and the option to shower. A small food court offers ice creams, chips, and candy. We got cookie ice cream sandwiches. The star of Star City, however, is the two large water slides. They have an orange slide that is open air and a blue tube slide. The orange slide is slower but longer and very fun because it is open. The blue tub slide zips you down so fast and is unbeatable fun. We came a day that wasn't too busy and the lines were never over 10 minutes. I'd recommend for a fun family friendly day in Lincoln!

Day of the event, doors locked and no one answering the phone or responding to email. After 45 minutes of waiting we had to scramble to find another location and call all of our guests. This was beyond an inconvenience!! I wouldn't recommend using their venue to anyone based on this experience.

I just visited The Escape Room with my wife and four friends, and we had a blast! We all heartily…read morerecommend trying it out. For those not familiar with escape rooms, the premise is simple. You get locked in a room for an hour and work together to solve a variety of puzzles within an hour in order to escape. I don't want to say too much about the puzzles, cause you'll want to experience them for yourself, but there were locks and keys and codes and all sorts of clever devices. There is also a television mounted on the wall that shows how much time you have left, and allows the folks running the show to provide the occasional hint if everyone is totally stumped (a facilitator watches you from behind a one-way window). Having never done an escape room before, this kind of surprised me, but after being in there for 20 minutes it totally made sense to me. It also added some levity. Escape rooms are new to Lincoln, and at the time of this review The Escape Room is less than a month old. There were a few minor kinks in the room, but we had so much fun that it didn't adversely affect our experience. Also, the folks at The Escape Room offered us a free escape experience at a later date, which we gladly accepted. Looking forward to coming back!
