My plow person never showed up at any point during the storm we have had over the past few days and my landlord wouldn't return my calls. Almost 10 inches of snow and sleet and tonight it is supposed to all freeze over. I found NB Snowplowing on yelp, called and he was at my place within 45 minutes, clearing up my driveway. And he was even wonderful enough to shovel my walkway. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend NB Snowplowing and am going to recommend to my landlord that he switch his contracted service next year to them.

In the process, water damage was discovered (due to the way our house was built) and Shawn and his crew came up with the a permanent solution. They completed the work in a timely fashion and did a beautiful job. They went above and beyond what they needed to do to complete a minor project what a different contractor left undone. I finally gave a third attempt and texted multiple times confirming hes coming, after the time came and went once again they claimed a job ran long and now hes tired. Im sorry since when does a job you delayed 3 times not get priority, wasted 3 nights standing around and now im out of patience. Do not hire these guys they are professionals at making excuses.

I have found that they communicate when they want, and they show up when or IF they want. I hired them for the winter 2024-2025. They were very nice to me until my "paid in full" check was cashed. Shortly thereafter the silly EXCUSES for not showing up began. For example: "I had a guy get buried in Parish doing my northern accounts I've been chasing parts all afternoon to get the 4th truck up and going...there was not 3 inches of snow in your area/ go outside and measure it with a ruler... the snow will melt by this afternoon...the snow is too wet to plow... I cannot imagine you're going anywhere between now and 5am...". After most snowfalls this year, I had to shovel my driveway when I needed to get my car out of the garage to get to work. The driveway was never plowed by 7a.m. as promised. They plowed about half of the driveway because they did not install markers to show the boundaries of the driveway. Consequently, they tore up parts of my lawn and never came to repair it. During one of the rare times the driveway was plowed, the driver scrapped the trim on the garage door with the (red) plow and just drove off. This is a great company if you want to pay them and then SHOVEL THE SNOW YOURSELF. This company is not worth the money or aggravation.

For the past 3 years running, they have provided regular lawn service, including mowing and weed whacking. They also helped adjust the mowing schedule to work around my lawn aeration and reseeding this past summer. Also they've done a couple of other specialized things for me, most recently including a tree removal. Fall of 2025, they offered snow removal in addition to the lawn service. Based on the weather so far this year, I've gotten lucky. They have been here multiple times, plowing my driveway in spite of some special needs. ( Curb stones, anyone?). I needed an emergency plow during one of the December snowstorms, when my mother was taking to the hospital. Joe literally was in my driveway less than 10 minutes after I called to make sure that I was able to get out and get to the hospital. Can't say enough good things. Is it the cheapest service in the area? No (with an asterisk*). It's a little bit more than what you pay a larger company, emphasis on the little, but in my opinion, I'm getting much more personalized service. For the fall / winter of 2025 2026, they've added plowing to their resume. It's the first year, so sometimes growing pains might be expected. With the heavier snowfall this year, more than once they've been to my residence multiple times in a single day to plow my driveway out. I called the owner directly and he was a true scumbag to me,and all we asked them is not to block the fire hydrant. To do what you did is a real crappie move. I have a disable girl with spina bifada and is in a wheelchair. She is not very quick,but is able to get in on our but with a lot of time. Them blocking this fire hydrant is now a personal problem for us. I wish I could post the pictures. They have blocked me from their website because I called them out on it.
