Long story short,…read more Last year in October (2022), we had water damage in our bathroom from a corroded pipe. The leak not only damaged our bathroom but caused our ceiling on the first floor to collapse which destroyed our family room. We called our insurance (Madison Mutual) and Falso Plumbing immediately. Falso, couldn't figure out where the leak was coming from so we called up Mr. Rooter of North Syracuse. Once Mr. Rooter fixed the issue, they recommended calling Servpro. Servpro worked with our insurance to resolve the situation in two phases. Phase one was Mitigation and Phase two was Reconstruction. After mitigation was over, Matthew Woiler from ServPro stepped in to guide us through the reconstruction process. He kept us updated, informed and kept our best interest in mind when searching for materials. Matt made numerous trips to Home Depot, Lowe's for us and even made changes to products we didn't like. Once the materials, supplies were finalized we were introduced to Draper's Roofing and Remodeling. These guys had a positive attitude everyday and were professional in their workmanship. They'll take a lot of time, but will work with care, precision and accuracy. They're honest in their pricing if there's any work done out of pocket. This is the best company in town for all your household repairs! My family and I have never been more impressed and happy with our service. I enjoy the fact that they are a smaller operation, and as a result of that can offer more personalized service, in my opinion. For the past 3 years running, they have provided regular lawn service, including mowing and weed whacking. They also helped adjust the mowing schedule to work around my lawn aeration and reseeding this past summer. Also they've done a couple of other specialized things for me, most recently including a tree removal. Fall of 2025, they offered snow removal in addition to the lawn service. Based on the weather so far this year, I've gotten lucky. They have been here multiple times, plowing my driveway in spite of some special needs. ( Curb stones, anyone?). I needed an emergency plow during one of the December snowstorms, when my mother was taking to the hospital. Joe literally was in my driveway less than 10 minutes after I called to make sure that I was able to get out and get to the hospital. Can't say enough good things. Is it the cheapest service in the area? No (with an asterisk*). It's a little bit more than what you pay a larger company, emphasis on the little, but in my opinion, I'm getting much more personalized service. For the fall / winter of 2025 2026, they've added plowing to their resume. It's the first year, so sometimes growing pains might be expected. With the heavier snowfall this year, more than once they've been to my residence multiple times in a single day to plow my driveway out. My plow person never showed up at any point during the storm we have had over the past few days and my landlord wouldn't return my calls. Almost 10 inches of snow and sleet and tonight it is supposed to all freeze over. I found NB Snowplowing on yelp, called and he was at my place within 45 minutes, clearing up my driveway. And he was even wonderful enough to shovel my walkway. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend NB Snowplowing and am going to recommend to my landlord that he switch his contracted service next year to them.
