All of the staff are covid conscientious wearing masks and very helpful. On different occasions the staff would walk a distance to get to the plant you are looking for. Very friendly and knowledgeable,, there are a wide variety of plants which look healthy and beautiful. I'll be black for more shopping. read more

We are so glad we found Bob Williams Nursery. This is the nicest nursery in the Indio area. Their business hours are very accommodating, unlike some of the other nurseries. They have a huge selection of plants, trees, pots and fountains. The nursery itself is really well organized and easy to navigate around to find everything your looking for. But the staff were even more of a help in answering all of our questions and locating exactly what we wanted. Brad was great to deal with and in lieu of having our plants that we purchased delivered by them for a very reasonable delivery fee, they were able to get everything loaded into the back of our truck for safe transport to our home 65 miles away. We will definitely be spending a lot more time at this nursery in the future. read more

This is a well established nursery with a reputation for good customer service and excellent quality and variety of plants. I had a chance to check them out and their reputation is well deserved. I was looking for Dwarf Dancy tangerine trees and they had them. The staff person who helped me was knowledgeable and super friendly, willing to answer lot's of questions. Nice, nice people. Nothing so bought because frankly it's a bit pricey. I like local-family run places and like to support them but they sell the same Palm tree for $89 that Home Depot sells for $49 with a 1 year warranty while the nursery offers two months. This was the first place I came to plants when we moved into the area a month before the summer heat hit. I have yet to see their full selection once the temps cool down and they're in season again, but can't wait! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I know some of their tips have helped me keep a few plants alive and not terribly scorched over the summer. Pricing is fair as well. No complaints, definitely my go to plant place for as long as we live here! read more

I had a landscape architect come out to my home last year and design the whole side of my yard. Then I went to Bob Williams Nursery and purchased $2500 worth of plant material and have it put in. I had three plants that died over the summer and I went back to Bob Williams and told them, and they told me that their plans are only guaranteed for two months. The selection, the quality of the plants and trees, and the staff at this nursery are outstanding. We have a home in Palm Springs and we wanted to find a nursery with healthy plants and trees that are acclimated to the weather here. The big box stores stock goods that may come from other areas and don't adjust to the desert climate. The selection is often limited, and the staff's plant knowledge can be unreliable. At Williams Nursery, the woman who helped us was very knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. She listened to what we wanted, and made excellent recommendations based on our needs. The whole experience was very positive and the prices were reasonable. We're thrilled to find this nursery. read more

We selected a Bottle Palm in a 3 gallon container that was clearly marked $19.99 with a paper tag. The cashier rang up the purchase and the total came to $29+. When I pointed out that the plant was marked $19.99, she told me that the price was wrong. I ended up going to Home Depot and purchasing a larger and healthier Bottle Palm for $19.98. They clearly failed the Business 101 class. read more

This is the best place to purchase all you outside plants and pots. The quality and staff are always willing walk around and help you figure out what best fits your area. We also purchased several "BIG" pots and they are by far the best we've ever purchased. read more

After a bit of a frustrating day trying to source a new nursery/garden center as a new resident, I came across this place. Though a bit out of the way and down valley, they had a good selection considering it's probably more low season. Adam greeted me instantly and was helpful to help me learn and choose some different plants for some pots for our front and back areas. This is the go to nursery in the East Valley. The staff is knowlegble, their plants are high quality and their prices are much less than other "high- end" nurseries in Palm Desert. They stand by their product. I purchased three Firestick/ Pencil cacti- hand picked them and when unloaded at home realized one was a diffferent color. Upon returning the next day there was no question about the exchange. In October / November they replenish their stock for seasonal planting. Definitely my go to place! read more

This is my favorite nursery in the valley! I have gotten about 20 plants here in the last 2 years, and all of them have done so well!!! I always get the healthiest plants here. Sometimes they can be just a tad more expensive than other places, but for the extra $5.00 spent, you get much healthier, good quality plants. The staff is also SO helpful, kind and knowledgeable!!! I have a choice of several nurseries in my area and I choose to purchase from this particular nursery every time. I have never been disappointed in their selection, availability of plants and customer service. They are outstanding in all areas. Staff here is great! Brad is so helpful in picking out appropriate plants for our yard. And the selection is varied and abundant. When we first moved here, we knew nothing about desert landscaping, and we have learned so much from the staff at Bob Williams. We now have a small orchard of fruit trees, an area of raised garden beds for vegetables, and a lovely patio area surrounded by growing plants which will soon be our verdant (we hope) paradise. read more

We've been going here for over 10 years. Love the setting. Ask for Tina. She rocks! Has been there for a long, long time and knows everything there is about flowers, shrubs, cactus, fertilizers, etc. Add to that her sweet disposition and you have "Super Botanist". To round things off, they have a couple of good natured cats that roam around looking for nice shady spots to nap. All is well at Bob Williams! read more

Selection of plants is amazing! Staff very helpful - showed us pretty plants (vs cactus which I don't find pretty) that will stand up to direct summer sun and offered to help us design our planting beds according to sun exposure. They are knowledgeable about details of plants such as sizes of dwarf tangerines. Good that they are open M-F till 5pm so people who work may have a chance to get there after work. I shopped here over 10 years ago, bought some very large ceramic pots. Remembered it as being nice. The surrounding area has certainly changed around the nursery... they used to be the only thing out there! but it is still a great place to find nice things! read more
