I decided to take the advice of many of my neighbors and enclose my wood beams with aluminum soffit and fascia. The wasps are not impressed with aluminum and it solved 95% of my wasp problem! I called one of my favorite contractors and he was out within a week for a very reasonable estimate. He promised to get it done the next week and he kept his promise! As you can see from my before-after pictures, the change is huge and the work beautiful. This is the second time I have used him, and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again!
