When I went there a couple of weeks ago I couldn't get in but today I was able to walk in and "Supa Ed"(owner), was able to line me up with the precision of a "beard surgeon". Fade Fanatics is what the barbershop use to be, a place for community to be able to just talk about what's going on in the local community. Fade Fanatics is one of the few shops that "welcomes" walk-ins. NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED!!! The two big screen tv's and the spacious seating area gives those waiting for service a chance to enjoy the overall barbershop experience..... They look very young and the two times I requested one of the older gentlemen I have received comments that they were waiting on a reservation or they had something else to do. I can believe that, but when I said I would wait I was not given the option. Second problem was personal. And it is the real reason I am writing this. I went in last week for a trim before Christmas. Was handed off to a new barber. He did a good job. Have no complaints there. The cost was $25. I handed him two $20 bills and said I would just like a $5 back. I thought $10 was a decent tip. He said he didn't have change. I asked if he could break it with anyone else. They all said they didn't have change. Then when I said I'd just pay with a card, all of a sudden that wasn't an option. I can't say I won't return for another cut. They are good. Very good. Even the new ones. But I will take the correct change from now on. And my tips may not be as generous.

I needed a place to get my 2 sons hair cut and was referred here by my brother and dad. There was a short wait because there was only one person working but that was a good sign because you could see they were all patrons they had been going there regularly. Lucera, our barber cut both of my boys hair and all I needed to do was show her a photo and she worked her magic. The shop isn't fancy but she worked quickly and knew what she was doing. The price was right too. Very inexpensive compared to the Supercuts where we are from. I highly recommend Lucera. In today's day it's important to keep local business thriving.
