I needed some stuff in a pinch and came across Urge Palette. There are few other places to compare in the area, and their online photos made the place look resourceful. Took a small drive over and I'm glad I did. Elijah was manning the fort that day. He was not only a pleasant dude, but he obviously has experience with various media, and was helping me sort out a project I'm experimenting with. Not just knowledgeable though; he was very clear with his suggestions. With price gouging being a thing nowadays, I was actually surprised I walked out of there with some high quality art paper and some chemicals for just $20. And I saw they had some nice notebooks priced really well. I'll be prioritizing this place for similar purchases while I continue to attend CSUSB.

For the store itself: I was greeted right away and the sales associate (forgive me, I do not remember her name at the moment) made herself available for questions. Think of this store like a mini-locally-owned Hobby Lobby or Michael's (knick-knacks, seasonal decor, decor accents for the kitchen, living room, den, yard, etc.). Everything was organized, displays were easy to maneuver around (explored this store while wearing my napping 10-month old so ease of being able to move in a store while babywearing is a priority!) So yes I am impressed and will return again. If you need a gift or a craft I would recommend this place, especially if the larger craft stores are intimidating, your first time in a craft store and don't want to be overwhelmed, or are just curious--like I was). Their options seem unlimited! Every time I come here, I end up spending my time going up and down each aisle. It's also very quality art supplies. They offer different art classes as well which I believe they hold in one of the stores walking distance from them. They have a list of their upcoming classes and events posted on the board next to the entrance. All their workers are friendly and helpful to any questions you might have. For the quality of the supplies, it's a great price.

I bought a purse made by Lisa Gallegos, her brand being Lalish. It has the Pomona 6Ps logo. Well-made with a detachable strap and inside zipper pocket, for $25. She has an office in the back of OverSpray and a display case in the store. You can pay her by Venmo or Zelle using the QR code in the display case sign.

They asked me a few questions about my mom and things she liked/enjoyed, within a day or so they had multiple ideas ready to go and quoted me a price per person. They were very communicative and helpful in helping to find the perfect craft for my mom's party and up unto my mom's party. The best part, they provided a few snacks and had popcorn and margarita machine for us to use. We were also able to bring in our own decorations, snacks and beverages. Marcus was our instructor, he was very professional, funny, and helpful. He even provided additional help and care to those in the class that wanted extra help perfecting their work of art.
