Simple grocery store with good value for products. It feels a little more basic here than the town's other grocery store but there's nothing to complain about in the selection or pricing. read more

This store can't compete with the lower 48 on selection or price but I had the best service I've ever had. Shopping in an unfamiliar store is challenging enough as is making last minute menu changes based on product availability. Every employee I met was super helpful. One (I don't remember his name - sorry) even stopped stocking a shelf and personally walked me to every item remaining on my list. Service like that is unheard of and was very refreshing. 5 stars, no hesitation. (Their fresh asparagus was the perfect side for my baked fresh halibut filets with fresh crab topper & stir-fried asparagus dinner. There were no leftovers. lol) Jim S.

A gift shop with distinct local character! That feels hard to find these days…read more The store manager was welcoming and kind, and the place smelled great. Really, I'd been looking for a set of cards from Alaska with cool designs to bring home, they had wonderful stuff here. I got two decks. Prices were OK given the location (i.e. a small town where everything is brought in by boat). There was a variety of things here from shirts to magnets, plus some outdoor equipment (maybe for the locals?). Overall, if you're in Wrangell this is one of the few options you have. Fortunately it seems to be a pretty good option.
