A great mix of people in a relaxed and comfortable environment. You get some tourists who are staying in the hotel and many local businessmen, writers, artists, etc. I usually stop in once every couple of weeks to use their free wifi and have a tea and sometimes something to eat. I'm giving 5 stars for a few reasons... Firstly, servers here are always friendly and attentive but allow me to work freely without hassling or trying to upsell me. I can come in, order a tea and work for two hours and I receive the same service as when I come with friends ordering rounds of drinks and food. Secondly, food is awesome. I love Spanish food but sometimes I need a hotdog or a hamburger to kill the homesickness. The dog here is fancy and comes dressed with an interesting mix of condiments so may not be for everyone but for me it hits the spot. The burger is a winner by any standard. Some may say that it's overpriced at €12 but it comes with homemade thick fries and considering the quality of the ingredients and the atmosphere I think it's a fair price. It's obvious they only use first quality ingredients here, food comes out of the same kitchen as the award-winning restaurant next door so it's no surprise there is so much attention to detail. Last thing that keeps me coming back is the music. If you're a cafe-dwelling, laptop-pounding, office-less wifi fiend like me you've likely grown extremely tired of the Starbucks playlist. You never know what you might get here, I've heard Neil Young and Jay Z on the same afternoon, but it's almost always a great mix. Also, if you stay late enough(I think around 10:30pm) some nights they'll have a DJ. read more
