I adopted my beautiful girl, Kali (then Ruby) back in 2020. I came to pick her up two days after her first birthday. When I arrived I was swarmed by 15-25 aussies. When I asked where "Ruby" was Koni replied "she's under the coat rack". This was the first red flag. The second red flag was Koni telling me two other people had returned her... She then proceeded to tell me she miscarried a litter. 3 owners and a miscarried litter all before her first birthday? Third red flag was when Koni told me to "feed her hot dogs". Excuse me? Absolutely not. When I brought Kali home, she was incredibly nervous and we had extremely terrible diarrhea almost everyday for the first month. Every morning I would wake up and my entire carpet was absolutely covered. She ran away from me multiple times. Kali clearly had hormonal and digestive issues from being rushed into breeding while being fed a nutrition devoid diet. The bond was already built and I refused to be another person to give up on this dog. It's been 5 years since then and Kali has had a beautiful life full of love and adventure. She is my baby. I will never give up on her. But she continue to struggle to this day with her tummy. I have her on Farmer's Dog and probiotic supplements. She gets whole real foods, lots of walk, lots of love. But her foundation was broken from the start. I am also fairly certain Koni's husband was abusive to the animals as she HATES tall men with beards. I don't know if Koni is still doing business, but if she is and you read this, adopt your pup from someone else. I am grateful for Kali in my life and will love her deeply until her last day - but she is a challenging dog and I fully blame this awful breeder for treating their dogs as nothing but a source of income. read more

I do not recommend Koni's breeders. She drives with her puppies to Brush from Sterling so you cannot see her puppy mill. Her and her dogs are retiring as she most likely lost her license in 2023. I took my four month new pup to the Vet after 3 days and he was diagnosed with Fecal: Giardia, clostridium, spirochetes Giardiasis, bacterial overgrowth. Basically from drinking water with feces in it. the pup was extremely past due on vaccine series, and will need 2 more doses when he is healthy again. At four months old. He is very low on energy from having these terrible symptoms. When I saw my vet bill for $299. I thought I should call Koni to ask for the vet money back as she neglected this puppy. I was told I had to have the dog seen within 3 days for a health guarantee which she does not apply. It is also questionable whether this pup is a blue merle as advertised. He was alot of red in his coat. When I called Koni to politely raise my concerns, she flipped out like a crazy woman and told me she was going to block my number. She was swearing like a wild woman to me so I just hung up. I guess I missed a red flag when I asked if I could pay with a cashiers check. She said absolutely not, only CASH. So I have no proof from her for the amount of money I paid for her. Nor did she promise a health guarantee. I am sure karma will get the best of her as she is a very demonic person. So do your homework as you truly need to vet this breeders that are only in it for the money. read more

We met our puppy today that we are going to purchase from Koni. So far she has been the most warm and welcome - very easy to talk to about prices, deposit, etc. She sends us pictures each week of sweet Goldie. The space where the puppies stay is clean and well taken care of. She has a doggie door for them to go in and out. They are able to play and interact with one another! It has been 9 months since we got our beautiful Bondi from Koni. I could not recommend them more. They updated us each week with photos and videos. Each video went for almost 10 mins. She would list all the things that happened that week - how well they were weaning and when they started solids with 100's of great tips. They allow you to visit (can't hold for safety reason). She has about 12 dog s and every single one will play with you want a cuddle. I wanted to take each one home. Shows how well she looks after them and the temperament of all her dogs! The kennels are super clean and even hearted and with air conditioning. They all have a special doggy door and ramp to a out side roofed in open pen. All her dogs are tested and cleared for MDR1, PRCD/PRA PRA -PRCD and HC Hereditary cataract (HC) Cataract is an eye disorder affecting the lens transparency. I have had the privilege of working with Koni and her husband for a few years now and can honestly say they are some of the nicest people you will meet! They have a very nice and clean facility.
