Everything is so fresh and good. Only bummer is we didn't get there early enough to try the croissant with the spam. Next time!

Still not giving out information in its entirety to potential adopters. Doesn't provide microchip numbers or vet records even to fosters

I do not recommend Koni's breeders. She drives with her puppies to Brush from Sterling so you…read morecannot see her puppy mill. Her and her dogs are retiring as she most likely lost her license in 2023. I took my four month new pup to the Vet after 3 days and he was diagnosed with Fecal: Giardia, clostridium, spirochetes Giardiasis, bacterial overgrowth. Basically from drinking water with feces in it. the pup was extremely past due on vaccine series, and will need 2 more doses when he is healthy again. At four months old. He is very low on energy from having these terrible symptoms. When I saw my vet bill for $299. I thought I should call Koni to ask for the vet money back as she neglected this puppy. I was told I had to have the dog seen within 3 days for a health guarantee which she does not apply. It is also questionable whether this pup is a blue merle as advertised. He was alot of red in his coat. When I called Koni to politely raise my concerns, she flipped out like a crazy woman and told me she was going to block my number. She was swearing like a wild woman to me so I just hung up. I guess I missed a red flag when I asked if I could pay with a cashiers check. She said absolutely not, only CASH. So I have no proof from her for the amount of money I paid for her. Nor did she promise a health guarantee. I am sure karma will get the best of her as she is a very demonic person. So do your homework as you truly need to vet this breeders that are only in it for the money.

Puppy Lovers/Buyers Beware!…read more I came across this website after my English Springer Spaniel of 15 years passed away. I spoke with the breeder, Kristi Hughes, at length about her puppies and my situation. She didn't have puppies yet, but was soon expecting. After researching, she was indeed the most expensive breeder, but I felt that I trusted her. I specifically wanted a liver and white female tricolor. She gave me full assurance that her dogs always had lots of tricolors since both the parents were tri-colored/rhone. I agreed to paypal her a $600 deposit in January 2014. I was paying to get the "First Pick." These were the terms that we came up with, and she agreed to: - $1,200 ($600 now, and $600 at 4 weeks) - I will get to choose and have first pick up until the puppies are 4 weeks old - If someone offers $1,500 for first pick, I will match it with some sort of proof (I really do trust you, but hoping that I will stay at $1,200 since I may have to pay up to $500 for shipping -Shipping will include a free used kennel (I will purchase a nice one that will be ready for her once she arrives) -There will be lots of interaction between birth and 4 weeks between you and me to help in the decision process -If a puppy is not chosen by me during this litter, these terms will roll over to the another litter The first puppies were supposed to be born in March, 2014. This one ended up being a "false pregnancy". The next litter was supposed to be around April 5th. I contacted her on the 5th, and she texted me that the dog had miscarried. I asked when the dog had miscarried, and she said it had been just over two weeks prior. I texted her that I wanted my money back, and she called me then. She went through many different reasons why she thought the dog miscarried: her horse died the night before due to a storm, one of the dogs got it's eye kicked out, and they thought it was dead, but it wasn't, her daughter had just moved away, and the dog miscarried and ate it's babies which made her sick. She said she would take pictures if I didn't believe her. She agreed to give me my money back, and acted very understanding. However , she explained to me that she had already spent the $600 deposit I had given her. She said she wouldn't have my $600 until she sold a puppy in three weeks. I agreed that I could wait. As a professional breeder, I couldn't understand how she would co-mingle the dog deposit funds with her own personal finances. She asked me to send her my info so she could mail it (how she didn't have my info at this point was beyond me). Then she emailed me a few days later saying the deposit was non-refundable, and that it goes toward the "care of the dogs". She said I could also roll it over to another litter. Weeks later, her dog (one that had not even previously been on her website) had puppies, and she didn't even make me aware of that. Several times since, she has agreed to send me back my money, but never does. This has been a heart breaking experience for me since I was so ready to get a new puppy. I put my trust into this breeder, and she turned out to be a huge fraud! I noticed on her Facebook page that she also sells body wraps to lose weight. She promotes the company and asks others to join her to make $$$ (which is plastered all over her site). She also had pictures of herself on this page after she explained and cried to me that the dog had miscarried. She looked fine and happy, and it was only a day or two within the time she told me all of the "tragedy" she was going through. She recently texted me about her horse, and said I had "no compassion for her horse that got hit by a semi". She had previously told me a fence fell on it in a storm. Lies! Since this situation, I have looked into other breeders, and there are much better ones out there. Please don't get stuck in a situation where you are only looking to get a great dog, and you get screwed over by this woman.

It's only a YEAR later that I'm getting around to writing this review, and the experience with this company still makes me tear up, with gratitude! As a first-time client, I had some special requests, like keeping my dog's body for a few days while I finalized ideas for memorabilia. They honored my wishes with such grace and compassion. When I needed an urn, they went above and beyond, showing me their inventory so I could select the perfect one, as each wood option was uniquely cut and meaningful. Their attention to detail and genuine care for my situation made such a difference. Despite my attempts to give them a cash tip as a thank-you, they kindly refused and asked that I leave a review instead. So here it is (a YEAR later): Caring Pathways offers incredible service with a truly compassionate touch. I can't recommend them enough. The vet, Kaity, and her assistant that came to help us were just as much of a blessing as the ladies at the mortuary. You're all just the most extraordinary team of humans!! Thank you, again!!!! With love, from Teresa & Bourbon.
