I've been out here 3 times and hesitated to write a review until now because I kept thinking, "There's no way it's going to keep being this good." Well, it appears it is. Service is always fabulous (very personable and attentive) and their combo board puts other meat and cheese boards to shame. And the wine.... holy buckets! The dry wines all the way down to the dessert wines and everything in between is done well. I've ordered a bottle (shared of course - no drunk driving!) and left with another bottle every time.

This place is gorgeous! My sister is getting married here, so that's how we discovered this gem! They do live music on Sundays and have amazing wines. The Rosie rose is a fav! They also have charcuterie boards that are so fresh and tasty! They are very reasonably priced as well.

The wine is the thing. BV has a very nice tasting room.

The most awesome winery in all of Iowa and Nebraska! The owners are great. The husband is retired military and learned the wine business while in Spain. His wife is the sweetest Texan. A nice drive from Omaha; just the right distance. Get the Bull's Blood. Their best seller; approaching Napa quality. I really like the tapas; Spanish style. The yellow color on the walls is perfect. The building is very nice. If you are thinking of having a wedding reception or other event, this place is for you!

An awesome Sunday afternoon. I bought a Groupon for 4 people and we enjoyed a cheese plate and a glass of wine while watching the pond.

Two air conditioned barns, one rustic and one glass enclosed, along with a dressing/prep area for both men and women make the accommodations top notch. Throw in a kitchen area, inside and outside bar service, a concrete wrap around patio and a ceremony pergola complete with pond and picturesque setting and you understand why this venue is booking events two years out! The owners, Rhonda and Brian, have assembled a staff that anticipates your every need. Trash is constantly taken out, restrooms are freshened and reset, food service vendors are assisted as needed and everything is taken care of seamlessly allowing guests and family to enjoy their celebration with no stress or drama. The grounds are immaculate, the parking is plentiful and the venue space will take your breath away. A portable microphone was provided for the ceremony and a large scale projector and sound system was also available. The red cedar tables are too beautiful to cover with table cloths so we just did a table runner, candles and eucalyptus. Nice, sturdy white chairs line the tables and are a step above what you usually find at most venues. The size of the venue allows a number of options for table arrangements. I was amazed at the quick and efficient clean up after our event. I went to collect table decorations and the staff had already packed items for easy transport home. Each and every staff member is first class and they work as a team to make sure every detail is covered. Sparks Barn is located half way between Lincoln and Omaha outside of Louisville, Nebraska.

Via Farina was serving pizza that night, and I was excited to see my favorite, the Fratello, on the menu. The pizza came out quickly and was just as delicious as always. When we arrived, the place was completely full, so we were added to the waitlist. Even though there was a wait, the hostess was incredibly friendly and made the experience much better. I didn't catch her name, but she recommended several nearby spots where we could grab a drink while we waited. Our table ended up being ready sooner than expected, which was a nice surprise. The live music was fantastic and really added to the atmosphere. The bar was well organized with only a short wait, even with the crowd. The cocktails were fine, but they didn't stand out as much as the rest of the experience. Overall, this is a beautiful place for a date night, especially if you enjoy live music, great pizza, and a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

I would have liked to know about the cover before, as this is a "speak easy" vibe so I don't see a lot of promo or content about their events. The drinks are a bit expensive, $6-16 depending what you order. My friend got a margarita and the menu said $13 but it rang up as $16, so that was a bit confusing. Depending on the time you go the seating can be difficult due to the sun setting and it being warmer there was a lot of seats open right in front of the band but it was INSUFFERABLY hot in those spots so we sat in the back. The bussers were great at clearing empty drink cups out of the way. I think it's a very cute space but a bit pricey, it's very fun for a more semi formal date as many people dress nicer for this space.

I attended an event here (Boomer Radio Sock Hop). The place is very nice. Parking lot would be…read moresuitable for most events, I think, but since there were A LOT of people at this event we weren't able to find a space in the lot. I really liked that there were two separate spaces on this floor, so there was a room where people were dancing to loud music, and another room that was quiet, spacious, and well-lit where people could eat and have conversations. I really appreciated that and it definitely added to my enjoyment of the event. The room where we ate was rather plain (still really nice). The other room was unique and beautiful, and has a patio. A downside is that there is a separate event space downstairs, and if something loud is going on down there you might hear it (and feel the floor vibrate). So that could be really problematic for some events. I also have a complaint about the bathroom. It is quite narrow and cramped. The ladies' room has 5 stalls, which honestly is not enough for a large event, especially since there are only a couple sinks and not a space for a larger mirror. Also - a HUGE peeve of mine - the doors of most of the stalls hang in a closed position, so to see if they are occupied you have to bend over to check if feet are there, in this very narrow space. It's not cool at all, and it's really annoying because the latches are designed in such a way that with a small amount of extra thought put in, they could indicate if the stall is occupied or empty. The building overall has been renovated so nicely and someone really dropped the ball on this aspect. It is a really lovely space, the event was enjoyable. I DEFINITELY appreciated not having to yell to have a conversation; this makes the venue a great place and accessible to groups that include guests who don't want to spend an entire event in a loud room.
