Meditation is something I have been learning and practicing for a few years. At times during meditation, one can feel vulnerable and fearful. I feel protected and safe when Jessica guides me through a meditation/hypnosis, and that is extremely important for it to be effective. Hypnosis was something I have never done before, but always wanted to try. I have learned in my personal studies that much of our inner healing takes place when we are silent and still. I find that silence to be very healing - even though it's hard sometimes to be still and silent for longer than 5 minutes for someone as restless as me. She guides me through a meditation that I helped create (my happy place is a beautiful beach). She has also guided me through other various hypnotic states. I have learned how to better meditate and visualize whatever results I want. I have also learned how to focus more on gratitude and less on fear-based thought patterns and behaviors. It's hard to describe how helpful meditation and hypnosis are - but I believe they're the best kind of therapy that exist. YOU gave me that option, and I'm sure other clients of yours can attest to that fact. I have never texted you saying our work was "amazing". I have every single text exchange, and if you continue to say things that are untrue I will post them. I would never say that because I did not believe our sessions were amazing, which is why I asked for the refund on the third session. You still haven't refunded me for the last session that was never completed due to the fact that I refuse to sign intake paper work and consent after the fact. I didn't trust it and I am glad I didn't because you are using this as a way to keep my money. As a professional who should be responsible for their own liability, you should have never moved forward without the proper paperwork. As it stands, you basically took my money without offering the full service. I still stand by the fact that this was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had and has deterred me from seeking out this specific type of therapy in the future. After an hour and a half session of hypnotherapy, I felt like a new person. I still felt that anxiousness and fear but I was able to control it in a way that I was never able to before. During the question and answer portion of my presentation, I was faced with a question I did not know the answer to, which normally, would have sent me spiraling into panic. Instead, I used a self-hypnosis technique that Marcia taught me and was able to move through the presentation.
