The staff are extremely educated on pelvic floor and have taught me how to control and relax it. I have been suffering from pelvic floor spasms since i was 19. I have now learned to control them or ease them. I haven't had one class i was disappointed in and it's really for everyone. It's worth the investment and being in an environment where they are aware of importance of proper form, breath and connection.

It's really a very special community, unlike any other group Pilates I've experienced. The classes were fun and challenging and we felt like we got a full body workout with each class. The classes at our home studio are 45 minutes but Jolene's were an hour which really gave us the opportunity to take time with each movement and stretch in between each exercise. I initially tried the new student special where you can take unlimited classes for a month for $30 which I would highly recommend to get a feel for the studio. I love that it's located downtown and so far parking hasn't been a problem. The ambiance is ideal for a yoga studio- natural light, beautiful decorated, open space and natural light. The only thing is that there's always a dog walking around the studio. He's usually locked out for classes but if you have an allergy it's good to know that he'll be around. There are also no showers, so keep this in mind if you're going before work! Overall it's a great studio and worth looking into.

After class I was hanging out like we were offered to do, and I made my way to the sink to wash my hands. I had put my shoes on and was taking in how beautiful the space is, and the owner came through and yelled at me. I'm not kidding, full yell about not seeing the remove your shoes sign. When I apologized she interrupted me and snapped that "that's what the sign is for." I'm sorry I didn't see your dimly lit sign in your dimly lit space. Maybe when I walked in and made eye contact with her she could have greeted me and given me a verbal run down of the studio like a professional. Needless to say I won't be going back there and I will be letting as many people know about this nasty experience as I can.
