Elena (I'm sorry if I got this wrong, I am terrible with names!) was a lot of fun to talk to, as well; it seems the art of conversation is something a lot of stylists have lost, but not her. I had gone to another cheaper nail salon and mentioned my ankle and they just ignored it entirely. The ladies at Chic are professional and accommodating. They take a lot of care to make sure you're comfortable and they do a great job. I haven't had hair services here, I mainly have gone for the Aveda Mani/Pedis, they are AMAZING (Lindsay & Meghan are awesome!), I've done the express mani/pedi as well, also great. I've had my brows waxed and a number of elemental facials, all fantastic experiences. The only thing I would say negatively, is that when you're in the back room for a facial, you can hear a lot going on in the salon, so it's not super 'peaceful', but it's still great! I would recommend this salon and spa (and have) to all my family and friends. (I do believe they accept walk-ins, but I always book in advance) - little tip - if you're interested in a Mani/Pedi go to the "Packages" tab on the website and book a "Basics" package, it's an extra couple bucks, but you get an eyebrow wax included. **Update** I have since had my hair styled here for my brothers wedding, they did a great job! Facial was supposed to be an hour and fifteen and included a massage of arms and feet, etc.. I Went to the spa, it was nice and the staff was kind. I got taken into a very small room and things went downhill from there. Spa technician was in and out of the room the entire time, not allowing me to relax in the least. Not sure why she would not have the product ready in the room. This is all done by appointment after all . Of the 45 minutes that I was there, she maybe touched my skin for 10 of those 45 and of that 10, she spent half that hurting me by removing the blackheads...I get that that is a necessary part of the process, however, that was what most of the time was. Also the room was cold and all I was wearing was a towel..yikes. So she wraps up and I head to the front to meet up with my friend, completely disappointed, as was my friend. It was nothing like the Groupon described. They gave us a basic facial and were going to charge us the Groupon price of $99 each for that nonsense. Important to note that a basic facial here is $79 which is NOT worth it. I have had way better facials for $40 elsewhere. In the end, they charged us $79 each. So we did not get the treatment we went for, we paid for a service we did not want, we were uncomfortable the whole time and left feeling cheated.

I visited Limeblu for a natural eyelash extension application…read more The finished look was 3-4 of my natural lashes bonded to one lash extension, resulting in a very clumpy look. My natural lashes began falling out from the root. The spa itself is lovely, and they were quick to book me same-day for a removal (which is basically pulling them out, and my once decent eyelashes are now stubby and damaged) with a different girl who confirmed that they were not applied correctly. I will advise ladies against going to Limeblu for any lash extension service. I really do not think the woman who did them originally should be allowed to do them in an otherwise professional spa.

I call in two days ago for an appointment time slot and the owner i would assume (omar) keeps on referring to me as "buddy" whilst acting like he doesnt have a care at all to be in the call with me. He asks for my number and I thought it would be easier if they call back straight from the phone so I reply that it's the number I'm calling from on the caller ID as a gesture of convenience for him and he replies: "look buddy, I don't have time for that, I'm busy." ??? Fast forward to appointment day I go in 20 minutes early and Omar tells me I've got to wait outside in the freezing cold when I walked my sorry behind all the way over to their shop. What is even more outrageous is that even though he said it's because of covid regulations and max occupancy bs, I watched with my own eyes two other fully grown men walk straight in as I came out but they did not get kicked out in the same fashion as I literally did 2 seconds prior. For the finale, when my turn came and I was about to hop on to the chair, I mentioned to him that I wanted a perm as well (which only takes about an extra 40 minutes or so) and he rejects me on the spot, mentioning that they're booked and all that. I would fully understand the situation, if, he and his useless employee didn't add some remarks that my hair is "too short anyway" for a perm (my hair is 4 inches long) and that "if I really wanted one" I would have to come back TWO weeks later or come back AT NIGHT that week for a hair session. I would also like to add the fact that he and his two employees were so nonchalant about everything, taking their damn time, speaking fables with their customers, and even just walking out the door, buying some chips, and chomping down on them casually while I was waiting. If they're so busy to the rim and packed like they really mentioned, then slap my ass and call me silly because I saw no more than 3 customers at a time. I was told I would be contacted that night or the day after for rescheduling because they had an asian senpai master who is godlike at perming hair and has his own special machine - which weirdly none of them know how to perm some hair - but guess what, no calls came. I then contemplated my life decisions and scheduled a quick and easy appointment with a Korean lady who gives bomb haircuts for two days later.
