My daughter told me she was routinely told to 'just hold it' when she asked to go to the bathroom. I spoke with them about this and they said they gave her time to go, yet she still developed another bladder infection. She told me the second time that she *was* asking her teachers to go and they were still telling her to hold it. My older daughter confirmed this was happening. This was really upsetting and we left shortly after this point. Another incident that happened was bullying by one of the teachers Ms. Shama. She was very hard on my daughter who was struggling to learn her numbers in Kindergarten. It got so bad that my daughter started having nightmares about learning numbers. I was concerned enough to write a note to the teacher asking kindly to please understand she was still learning. My daughter later reported to me Ms. Shama refused to let her participate in any numbers or reading activities after that because she said 'your mom said you can't do any activities', which was of course not what I said in my note or in the quick f2f chat we had. I was really disappointed that an adult would treat a 5 year old this way.

My daughter learned a lot. We particularly loved her learning Star Spangled Banner and that the teachers gave her exposure to different languages. We certainly miss this school!

This…read moreschool failed to care about, And turned a blind eye to complaints against a student that was making unacceptable, disgusting, sexually explicit, and derogatory comments toward another student (my son). I had to advocate for my son on multiple occasions, was never contacted about the outcome of the " investigation" And was told that they could do nothing since nobody heard it and they couldn't prove it on video. Absolutely unacceptable by a school district if you ask me. I was also told that it was not being looked into any further since this other student was no longer going to the same school as my son. I sure hope nobody else has to deal with this type of situation with the student since nobody in the school district seemed to care about avoiding the same situation in the future.

They're terrible neighbors. I live across the street and the level of music noise from the games…read morerecently has gotten to the point where we're getting law enforcement involved. The amplified noise can be heard inside our homes, with doors and windows closed, and the bass is making things in my house vibrate. I know we live across the street from a school. I expect there to be a certain amount of noise. But being unable to enjoy some peace inside my house is ridiculous. I've tried calling and have left messages, but they haven't helped. Next step is the police. Edit: 11.5 hours. 8am to 7:30 pm of thump thump bass. I know for a fact the police were called multiple times. Everytime they came out the music would go down for a little while...and then they cranked it right back up again. I wish Yelp would allow a zero or even a negative star rating.

She was warm, patient, and always took the time to update me about my daughter's day. She also created so many engaging and fun learning activities for the class.
