I feel sorry for people who buy their homes w/o inspections or use an inspector like the ones that I've used in the past. I had no idea that this is how it should be done... The house that I ended up purchasing was inspected by Adam for the SELLER before he put it on the market. I was BLOWN AWAY by the extensive amount of detail, pictures, and the summary + explanation of issues to address immediately, or in the near future, that was in Adam's report. It was clearly evident that Adam had gone through the house with a "fine-toothed comb" and disclosed even minor issues. I've purchased a few homes before, and received a checklist-type report a few pages long, no pics, no recommendations or explanations, once even after an inspector went through an entire 4,000sqft house in only an hour with my husband. Worthless. After I purchased the house, Adam actually went through the entire report with me (since it was done pre-sale for the seller), while going through the house and explaining everything clearly and thoroughly. I cannot stress enough how INCREDIBLY helpful this was, and was obviously above and beyond what he had to do. NO COMPARISON!!

Completely missed a heavily compromised wall that gave way!…read more Used for our home inspection on our 1st ever home. Seemed nice at the time, but have come to understand that he missed EVERYTHING! The "imperfection" in the wall that I was told to just paint over was actually water damage and water in the wall that was heavily compromised and that gave way from ceiling and adjoining wall came down with next rainstorm. Because the roof wasn't inspected properly (never got up there, now I know better) that the roof wasn't properly sealed and covered that was leaking down the stack, through the walls all the way to the basement. The cracks in the basement we were told just to get sealed, even though they leaked as well and flooded the basement in the rainstorm. Was then laughed and chuckled at on the phone when I brought up these issues with the inspection and was told that an inspection is a moment in time and because that moment was done during a draught that he sees what he sees. I explain we saw and mentioned, that it was shoved off by him even though it was a major issue now we know in hindsight. So basically BEWARE.... that an inspector is only as good as the weather and conditions around him. He told me that houses are old!! My reply: yes houses may be old, but nothing everything is damaged and something that is noticably damaged should be investigated because that's what you're hired for and you're JOB! No accountability for doing their job, no kindness and no respect at all! In it only for their quick paycheck and move on! If I could give NO STARS I WOULD.

Many of the reviews I've read about Buffalo Girl Home Inspection were positive and I have to say my experience with this company ran parallel with others' experience. The exceptional customer service started with their office manager Jenna and it only got better with the actual inspection that was done by Jason. Upon receiving the report, I was blown away by how detailed it was. I've dealt with a handful of inspectors and have heard about the experience from friends/family and I will say that this company exceeded my expectations. The report was really thorough and I can tell that he really made sure to give his 100% in every aspect of the report. I personally decided to pay for the additional services and I don't regret it.
