Wow. We hired Wendy to handle the taxes for ourselves as well as our small business. She made…read moreNUMEROUS errors on our taxes. Several revisions had to be sent to the IRS. I had to rifle through my 80 page return and go over it with a fine tooth comb. I then took the return to another CPA who found even more errors. Overall the entire experience with Wendy was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I don't understand how she is still in business. DO NOT HIRE.

Listen. I don't know where you're at in your search for a CPA, but I can only hope you're…read moreresearching various tax preparers and stumbled across Wendy's Yelp reviews prior to soliciting her services. If, by chance, you're looking at this after the fact, oh man, I'm so sorry. Wendy Smith is an incompetent, argumentative shrew, who defies the stereotype of an "accountant" by completely lacking an attention to detail. One small example: She misspelled "Cincinnati" on my return. Wow. Ms. Smith made numerous errors on the paperwork, which ended with a dent in my credit. When calling to discuss the issue, Wendy immediately got defensive and was unwilling to discuss the matter further. So I opted not to pay her fee for services rendered, as said services should have been... you know... adequate. And then she threatened me with a Collections Attorney. I guess what I'm saying is this: Just don't. You'll have ordered a cheeseburger, expected a cheeseburger, and assumed a cheeseburger would be brought to your table and would be, at the very least, edible. Instead, the waiter will bring you a tire iron on a plate and blame you when you don't enjoy it.
