I'm very impressed with PA Joanne Turner. I have worked with Joanne for over 2 years and she is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Now that my son is a patient, I had to reschedule a sleep study 3 times (because he is a Clemson student and commitments kept interfering.) Charlene not only helped me reschedule the sleep study, she really worked with us to feel appreciated. I cannot say enough great things about these 2 professionals at Bogan Sleep. read more

Dr Stephanie Furnell or Fernell is my sleep doctor. I went straight to her last year because my pulmonologist at the time abruptly left and I was struggling to find someone in order to continue my BiPAP machine but when I found Stephanie, I went to see her last year the first time and she was incredibly sweet. She took care of the order to extend my BiPAP machine rental and for more supplies. She was so very very sweet. I had a follow up appointment today with her and I couldn't be more happier. I have never had any billing issues with this company and this is my second visit. She is a wonderful person and I highly recommend her to anyone who has sleep apnea issues. read more

I have to say Bogan Sleep Consultants was the biggest ripoff of all times. I went to them knowing I needed to get a cpap machine. The whole process started in May of 2017 at which time I could not get an appointment until November. This was only my first visit. I had explained to them that I had met my deductible for insurance and would like to get this taken care of in 2017 but they were unable to give me an appointment for 6 months. They assured me that once the appointment was done things would move along quickly. Things did not move along quicker. In December I did the overnight stay and had an appointment for the following week to review and get a cpap. Of course the appointment was canceled due to the DR. needing vacation. Not sure how they did not know he was on vacation but never the less my next appointment was rescheduled to the last week of January. Funny thing is I knew I was going to be on vacation. So it ended up in February. I had to have surgery shortly after my appointment so I put getting the Cpap off until I recovered. Per the Dr suggestion so as to give my body time to heal and get back to normal. Now in June 2018 I start trying to get my cpap ordered. But nobody can find my Subscription. Finally on 8/7/18 someone from Bogan Sleep Consultants calls and says it has been to long since your sleep study. We will need to do it all over again. WTF. They are the ones that drug it out. Why do I have to pay again? If you would like to be jerked around and spend more money that you need Bogan in the place for you. If you want to do things right and not get ripped off. Go elsewhere. read more

Dr. Bogan is one of the founders of SleepMed, the Medical Director of SleepMed of South Carolina in addition to serving as Chief Medical Officer of SleepMed, Inc., the largest sleep diagnostic company in the United States. He has served as principal investigator on numerous clinical trials in the past and continues to do so. In addition to his work with SleepMed, he sees patients at his practice, Bogan Sleep Consultants, LLC.

Meet the Business Owner: Richard B.

Dr.Bogan is the owner of Bogan Sleep Consultants, LLC, serves as the Medical Director of SleepMed of South Carolina, in addition to serving as Chief Medical Officer of SleepMed, Inc., the largest sleep diagnostic company in the US. He is also Associate Clinical Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and Associate Clinical Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He has been certified by the American boards of Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Diseases. Dr. Bogan has served as principal investigator on numerous clinical drug trials in the past and continues to do so now. He has a varitey of publications and research interests that focus on topics such as narcolepsy, insomnia, sleep apnea, shift work sleep disorder, restless leg syndrome, chronic fatigue and circadian rhythm abnormality.
