However, when I ran into Dr. Carrillo through Sharp, I felt it was worth it to follow her to her private practice in Poway. She and her office staff were always respectful and attentive, and I never had any billing issues. The maintenance medication I take isn't much of a guessing game, and she kept me on it - didn't try anything crazy like pushing new meds for kickbacks (which I have seen happen unfortunately). I felt that our sessions were always productive and she paid attention when I had concerns. I left her because I have almost always had Kaiser and I got that coverage back, but I would recommend her to anyone looking for a psychiatrist.

She also is the only doctor I've ever seen, in any medical field, who cares more about the patient, than any amount of money, and never lets her patients down, when it comes down to it, in my expert opinion (after years and years of being betrayed and disappointed by bad doctors). During the separation, I explained to Mark how she was behaving and he told me to tell her next tie she has an affair to just get a hotel instead of moving out and costing us $50k. He was correct she was having an affair(s). He started to help her and said she was a narcissist; I had no idea what that was. He made a few comments about her being very pretty, which I found disrespectful and a bit strange. Shortly after his treatment of me began to get all out weird. She at one point texted Dr Magulac and told him that I had found a BUNCH of texts and emails that implicated her as cheating in a big way, his response was to tell me to take my medicine which I found pretty odd and disrespectful once again. There was another time, I called Mark and asked that he not prescribe my wife at the time any more Ambien and Mark responded to me and said to mind my own business and to leave the meds to him. He then hung up. I kind of thought it was my business, had he asked any questions I would have told him she was in a psych ward and the psychiatrist asked me to cal Mark and tell him to discontinue the meds as it was aiding in her acting out in her sex addiction. My assumption, Mark did not want to get on her bad side and cut off her supply even though we were living in Texas for over a year. After her and I separated, I moved back to CA, a set an appointment to see him with my 14-year-old, to which he told me in front of my son that I should not have shown up. Kind of strange for a doctor, the other doctors I saw again were happy to see me back and were supportive. Mark had a highly inappropriate relationship with my ex-wife and after reading the rest of their text messages, as I have her old phone, I am GREATLY disappointed in him as a doctor and as a man. I am sure his wife would NOT at all appreciate the messages I saw. My current psychologist a PhD found the massages so inappropriate she suggested I file a formal complaint with the Medical Board. I needed help and got nothing of the sorts from him. Do better Mark! You are a CLOWN! Stand by while I contemplate filing said complaint.
