In January 2024, I purchased a garage door motor system that included a control panel, sensors,…read moreremotes, cables, bearings, weather seal, and other components for $1,000. In May 2024, I paid an additional $500 to have two new springs and bearings installed. As of October 2025, the sensors have failed and are no longer under warranty. I was charged $418 to replace them, despite the fact that similar sensors are available for around $50 at Home Depot. With a standard service fee of $40 and labor at $75 per hour, that means I was charged roughly $300 just for the sensors themselves -- a significant markup. Additionally, I was told that my springs and bearings need to be replaced again, at a cost of $705 -- even though they were newly installed just 17 months ago. These parts are also now out of warranty, and I did not purchase the company's expensive extended warranty. In my opinion, this company has significantly overcharged me, inflated the cost of parts, and delivered poor-quality workmanship.

I sent this email almost a week ago and did not receive a response. I'm not thrilled that I paid $5,334.00 and have a drive way with an ugly patch. THE LETTER Dear AMVet, I am extremely disappointed with your driveway coating service. The finish on my driveway does not resemble any of the coated driveways I personally inspected at your previous customers' homes. The coating was applied on June 11, 2025. When it didn't look right initially, you returned and reapplied another coat in a few areas. Then, on January 21, 2026, you came back to repair a fine crack, but the repair left a visible patch across my driveway. Now, just a few months later in April, another fine line is already appearing in another area. I am not requesting another repair, as my driveway is beginning to look like a patchwork quilt. I was told the first repair was free, but any future repairs would cost $170 each. This is not right. It hasn't even been a full year since the original application, and these issues should not be occurring. You should have known that my driveway would not hold up well to your coating. I can only assume you were aware of this and chose to proceed anyway. I would appreciate a serious response to this matter.

Had to call in as locksmith when the lock failed to open a door due to a latch problem. Turning the…read morehandle did not retract the latch, so the door could not be opened. Even using a screwdriver to manually turn the latch wouldn't work because the latch had failed mechanically. Anyway, the locksmith showed up as scheduled. He immediately understood the problem as I explained it to him, got his tools, and quickly went to work. He had to pry the latch out in pieces as it would not retract, no matter what he did. Long story short...I am a happy customer of Beach Locksmith. He installed a replacement lock for me, and charged me a reasonable price.

He will flat out lie right to your face. He has no voice mail, keeps no office hours, doesn't return emails or calls. Ron installed cable wire for my deck rail. He was paid to use 316L stainless steel cable. He either got a bad batch or used an inferior cable as it rusted within a couple months of installation. Ron said he would replace it. Said he treats customers the way he would treat a family member. It's been over a year and the cable has still not been replaced despite Ron's promises and guarantees that it would be replaced. Ron Robleto of Melbourne Beach always has excuses why he hasn't been able to replace it yet. Now, Ron no longer responds to emails or messages and has gone silent.

The owner, Ron Robledo, was very hands-on throughout the manufacturing and installation process and helped me understand how to maintain and protect the railings from the constant exposure to salt air. Ron was also kind enough to provide me with some samples of BoeShield T-9 corrosion inhibitor and Blade & Bit salt remover for my use. When I had some questions about maintenance of the railings, Ron personally visited my home and walked me through application of the products and immediately addressed some minor punchlist items.
