I took my car here for a hand wash, mobile car wash, vacuum and dust the interior. It was supposed to be the full works! I also had sticky residue on my window possibly from a tree. The cost was $57! What a rip off! I had to ask them three separate times to reclean the car. The residue was still on the window. The dirt was still on the rims. It wasn't completely dusted. There was dirt on the partially vacuumed seats and dirt and sticky residue remaining in the cup holder. This was my second chance with Bohemia car wash who used to do an impeccable job. As soon as my car was done, they rushed to close. I had the manager look at it and he offered me to bring back the next day again to fix it a fourth time. Note, there was only one other car there that day! Don't waste your time or money. They are sloppy, super expensive and clearly are not interested in return customers. I've been going here for years, and honestly, I don't know what people expect from a car wash to give this one bad reviews. There are quite a few in the area, but I find the prices and service at this one to be the best bang for the buck... but YOU HAVE TO take advantage of the specials! I intentionally drove out of my way to get my husband's Jeep hand washed. Well a lot has changed since the last time was there! They are now an "automatic" carwash, but will do hand wash upon request. So I request a hand wash, to be told it would take a while (no, it was not busy)...there was no cars behind me at the time. So...I opt for the #1 automatic, only to have the machine break down on the car be for me; trapping 3 cars in the automatic carwash. My car ended up being "hand washed", but I was concerned with not getting all the bells and whistles that I had paid for. I was assured that everything was being done. Sometimes the car ends up a little "cleaner" than others. I would say their attention to detail is not always great (missing a small smudge here or there), but for a basic wash you can't really complain about it. Used to go here all the time as I used to work down the road on locust avenue. The Service and attention to detail used to be outstanding. Now I just spent $50 for a car wash because I am having a baby and my wife wanted my truck clean and it came out worse then it went in. If you look at the pictures you'll see there is a film on my truck that wasn't there before along with tires that weren't fully coated with the black shine. Brought my car to the Bohemia Car Wash on Sunrise Hwy in Bohemia! They did an excellent job! My car was washed spanking clean and then afterwards was hand dried, windows cleaned inside and out, whole interior of car was vacuumed including the trunk. All inside surfaces were wiped down. They even cleaned my wheels and shined my tires!!!! They have a nice spot to sit outside in the sun or you can sit inside, while they tend to all these details. Honestly the if it wasn't for the groupon deal would certainly be a one star experience. I visited the place on a weekday around 2pm and there were still bit of a wait. The washing process itself was relatively quick and easy. I do like how they hand wash the cars and not just go through bunch of sprays. Although even with the layer of soap in the end I still found bunch spots that weren't completely clean, unfortunately it just really needs multiple washing to get those tough stains out.. Their bottleneck is definitely at drying as once my car was done and parked for drying it took them about 10 minute before the crew were able to start drying my car. This certainly left some water stains on my car especially around the roof as that day was pretty hot out so water was evaporating rather quickly. From a distance it looked like they did a good job with my car as it was sparkling but once I had a closer look then started seeing these water stains as well as swirl marks. Given that this is the experience I got on a weekday afternoon I would only expect it to be worse on weekends and outside working hours. Although because the groupon is specifically for Mon-Thurs I wonder if those are their busiest days now. In the end I think they're geared more toward volume of the customers than quality it seems. I went back today because I saw they had the 50% off before 10:00AM special. Great idea!! So I figure let me splurge and order the $40.00 combo which I would not normally order for $20.00! Let's just say the staff is still poorly supervised. Never even wiped down the water stains from the back seats when my kids spilled water. Also the upholders in back not cleaned. Poor hand waxing job and tar stains from tree droppings still on the door - not a hard to reach area. Management knows about yelp and has been trying to solicit people from Groupon for a whole now. People get hooked but don't come back. Don't they get it?!?! Ugh....just wish places take pride in what they deliver whether it's food or a car wash. Well, I got my car back all clean and shiny! They did a beautiful job. The detailing experience went smoothly. I dropped the car off at 9am and was called at 1pm that the car was ready. It's a small sports car and didn't need any special waxing. They cleaned the engine and trunk as well as the interior. The car shined! Good job. Absolutely terrible. This place went downhill when the ownership changed a few years back. Reluctantly I went there today and come to see wash prices went up 40%. SMH. They washed my truck by hand because their machines are broken. They took an hour and tried to tell me my truck was finished while still leaving bird excrement all over the truck. Broke my windshield wiper off and refused to fix it. Manager told me she had camera footage of my car entering the car wash without it but refused to show me the footage and said "we don't do that."
