I'll update when I get them back (and see the results) and let you all know how they turned out! (Hopefully five stars!) One leather loop broke and I lost the "D" ring. Old time shoe repair place in the next town. The lady at the counter started digging through some old leather scraps and found a great match - then started sifting through some old parts drawers and came up with three similar "D" rings. Together we picked the best match! I can't wait to see how it turns out! I'll update when I get them back (and see the results) and let you all know how they turned out! (Hopefully five stars!) UPDATE: Brought a pair of older Sorel boots in that had suffered some leather damage - the found an almost perfect leather scrap, an almost perfect "D-Ring" and made an AFFORDABLE repair in a timely fashion. In addition to my boot repair, I also noticed a 50% wool liner for my "Chopper Mittens" that I have been searching for.
