I hired Bose Cleaning Fairy to do a full home clean right before listing the house to sell (while I was painting and depersonalizing and generally stressed out of my mind). I keep my house pretty clean, so it was really just in need of a good weekly scrub-down. Two ladies showed up and asked to be shown around. I explained the scope of work and mentioned that dusting, mopping, and bathrooms were the highest priority. I also paid a little extra to have the oven cleaned. I'll say this: the oven was sparkling, the kitchen appliances were wiped down, and the toilet bowls had been cleaned. The upstairs carpet was also nicely vacuumed, but though I saw mopping happening, the job was not done very thoroughly--there were dirty spots in several areas that clearly hadn't been touched, and the stairs weren't even swept. Toilet bases were not wiped down at all, sinks/tubs hadn't been scrubbed, and NO dusting was done at all! I was pretty disgusted that I paid a few hundred dollars for that kind of work. I will say that when I sent the owner photos and asked for 25% of my payment back, he offered 30%, and was very good about following up. He was extremely professional all around. If only the cleaners had followed his lead, my experience would have been much more positive. One extra star for administrative customer service. read more

Got services from this company as a gift for family members. I thought it would be a great service because I liked the ease of use for booking through the website. Unfortunately that was the best part of the experience. I read good reviews and was expecting that my family members would get a thorough cleaning. The pricing is based on the numbers of rooms and bathrooms so one would expect that all of these places would be cleaned. That was not the case at all. Most rooms weren't touched, counters were left dirty with just one wipe. Floors were left drenched, and dust remains in the entire house. I've tried to call to speak with someone at the company and received no response. I was hoping to find someone we could work with to get this house cleaned for the family, but I'm back on the search. Update: I was contacted and assured I will not be charged for the cleaning. I have revised my review to 2* for the quick response/resolution. I will start this with the one good thing I experienced with Boise Cleaning Fairy. The staff was very friendly and kind, and that is where it ends. I have a new tenant moving in so I scheduled my appointment online the day before I need serves performed. There was one slot left and that was at 3pm. The morning of, I missed a phone call from Boise Cleaning Fairy and called back promptly. When I called back no one answered so I figured it was just an automated confirmation phone call. While picking things up in my home prepping the spaces to be cleaned, I hear a knock on the front door (around 12pm). It was the staff from Boise Cleaning Fairy arriving early. When I let the 2 smiling ladies know that I had scheduled for 3pm and was not quite ready for them, they told me they were told that I had been contacted about rescheduling, which I had not been. Being flexible I told them 2 of the 4 spaces I was intending to have cleaned were ready for them. For the first hour or so I was present and the crew appeared to be doing their job in the bathroom and kitchen. I stepped out for lunch and when I returned I saw only one car in the driveway. I enter through the back door, expecting to still see someone in my home, but no one was there. After confirming no one was home, I walked to the window and saw the second car pulling away. I did a brief walkthrough, only to find out that they had done a marginal job at best, and I now had no one to bring it up with. I had paid $104 for a cleaning of an empty bedroom, a fairly clean kitchen, an empty bathroom, and a living room (only a TV and Couch present). The crew did not wipe down the fixtures in the bathroom (tub), any of the empty shelves in the living room, any of the empty shelves in the closet, wipe out the sink etc. There was some debris left on the kitchen countertops, as well as marginal sweep/mop of the kitchen floor. It appears that they did run a vacuum on the carpet, and they did clean the tub and toilet. All and all I am pretty disappointed with the lack of attention to detail the crew showed. It makes me wonder what the 2 of them did for almost 2 hours. I have tried calling Boise Cleaning Fairy multiple times today and have left a message. I hope I hear back from them with a remedy to this issue. read more

Terrible job! The cleaners and I spoke about what I'd like to have deep-cleaned and prioritized the rooms. We paid almost $200 for two cleaners to spend 2 hours cleaning our bathrooms (2.5 baths). I asked them to only move on to the next room when the prior room was cleaned. I told them I really only needed the two full baths done and whatever time was left, if any, could be spent on the rest of the house. Well NONE of our bathrooms were cleaned thoroughly and one of the girls spent time cleaning our microwave and kitchen which we discussed was of little importance. The main shower wasn't even touched. The floors were half-assed at best. The counters had smears on them. The cabinets weren't touched. The toilet was still dirty. There was some sort of cleaning product spilled outside of one of the bathrooms that either wasn't cleaned up at all or not properly leaving a stain on our carpet. The quality of work done at the house was poor and inexcusable. I took the time to let the owner know how upset I was and even sent a few pictures. I received ZERO response which I think speaks volumes about their customer service. They should have refunded our money or made it right by sending a different crew out to properly clean the house. I do not recommend this cleaning service to anyone. read more

We hired them to clean our counseling office every other week. I was out of town for the first two and my receptionist could not tell if the cleaning had been done or not. On the third scheduled visit I received a phone call right before that they didn't know this was scheduled and they were no longer able to do our cleaning. Our keys were never returned and we were never contacted again. Then to make it more frustrating, I kept getting email notices about our scheduled cleanings and that we were going to be charged. I had to contact them to ensure we didn't continue to get charged for a service they canceled last minute. I see good reviews about the work they do....but the scheduling and how this was handled was very unprofessional. I would never approach this company again. read more

The house was empty, we were moving and they didn't need to vacuum any floors. In the master bath you could see the residue from the cleaning products and all the mirrors had streak marks on them, master bath mirror wasn't done, still had spots like it wasn't attempted. I made an appointment with Boise Cleaning Fairy THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE for a specific date I was expecting a houseguest, and they called me to cancel the morning they were supposed to show up to clean. Tyler left me a message saying that one of the crews had called in sick and that they just couldn't fit us in because of the existing customers whose houses they had to clean. I've used cleaning services before, and sometimes things happen and you have to reschedule. I totally understand that. BUT if I were the one rescheduling due to a sick crew, I would reschedule the existing clients (who presumably know the value of the service and therefore wouldn't be so put off by having one appointment moved), rather than just completely cancel on new clients (who are likely to just find someone else to do the job). As a new customer who needed them on a specific day and was pushed aside, I do not trust them and I do not feel like my business is valued AT ALL. And they have left me in a really crappy position because there is no way I have time to find another service before my houseguest arrives. And, yeah, OK, worse things have happened to people than having to leave work early to clean their own houses, but this service is for people who DON'T HAVE TIME (or I guess just don't want) to clean their own houses. For the sake of full transparency, I will tell you that I called them back and was pretty upset, at which point a different guy (not Tyler) told me he would be happy to offer me a free cleaning if I ever did decide to use them in the future. What good is that to me, though? By the time they can make good on that, I will have been able to find another cleaning service. I'm not going to cancel a recurring appointment with someone else just to bring them in once. UPDATE: I don't see a way to respond to the owner's comments below other than messaging her directly, so I am putting my response here. I am very sorry to hear about your mom. I'm sure that you are going through a very difficult time, so I'm going to assume that on most days you wouldn't leave a sarcastic response to a customer who has honestly described her experience with your company. Rescheduling to tomorrow would have been fine, but that was not offered. Nor was paying for another cleaning service. I said I needed someone by tomorrow, and Koby said that that would not be possible. After I left this review, I got a voicemail from Koby offering me $100 for my trouble. He even knew my name, even though the reservation was under my partner's name, leaving me with the impression that the real problem he wanted to solve was this review (I also left an identical Google review), not my bad experience. He asked me to call back, which I did -- twice. He didn't answer, but I did leave him a message letting him know that, while I appreciate the effort, I don't need your money, and it doesn't solve my problem. The team did a really good job. I was impressed with Jesse's response time - he replied to my plea for a quick move-out cleaning request within 30 minutes (late at night). He was very easy to work with and the entire process was professional. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they missed a few things (innocently enough - it was a long day!). A bank of drawers in the kitchen and the built in soap dish in the master bath were missed. It was easy enough for me to go back and do it though. I would recommend them and use them again. This is the first cleaning company I've ever used. I chose them based on a recommendation from a friend and because they are a local small business. I wasn't home when they arrived so I left the door open. When I got home, there were 2 cleaners...a guy and a girl, probably in their 20's, neatly dressed and very polite. They had smiles and seemed to enjoy their job. This is really important to me because it shows that the management/ownership treats their staff well. I didn't stick around to watch over them, but while I was there, they were focused and doing a thorough job. They were not going at warp speed as if I was one of 18 homes they had to hurry through for the day. I felt like they really had a goal to be thorough/detailed and make my home look its best, even if it took longer. And they didn't try to upsell me with additional services. When I returned at the end of the day, I was beyond impressed with the final product. My house looked brand new again. They even got my shower sparkling white, which I didn't think was possible. They didn't miss a single thing. I usually do my own cleaning and to do this thorough of a deep clean would have taken me probably 10 hours plus buying all the specialty cleaners and scrubbers, etc. As I mentioned, this was my first time hiring a cleaning company so I can't compare to others, but they were a 10 out of 10. Their pricing on their website is straightforward and reasonable especially considering how much stress they just took off my back.
