Just the most creative and ridiculously addictive idea.
Brazilian cheeseballs are light, fluffly dough rolls which are around the size of a donut hole. Rather than being sweet, they are traditionally cheesy with the chedder permeating the dough rather than simply being a filling. The result is an airy treat of great proportions. These poppables are gluten free and have no added sugar. The perfect healthy snack (or so I tell myself every day). They are around £2 for a bag of 6 or so and you pay a little extra if you want the guacamole dip or the salsa. They used to be only £1.50 and I would, without fail, get a bag on the way home from lecture as they are just on the edge of the covered market. They are slightly less heavy and have better texture than the ones I had in London, so I am understandably impressed.
Apparently they have come out with a sweet variety. I haven't tried it yet, but if it's half as good, we are in luck! read more
