For views of the city and a unique experience, book tickets to climb the 400 steps of Bolt Tower.my six-year-old daughter and I visited in August on a Tuesday afternoon. Here's our experience. 1) Tickets: They offer tours, but we opted for tickets to the cafe at the top. It cost 200 CZK for me and my daughter was free. You have to buy the tickets online or at the info center, not at the actual Bolt Tower. 2) Experience: It doesn't take long to climb all the stairs, but at almost every level there are things to see and read to learn about the old coal mine.
