It's cost me time and money to come back when it was their fault. I've spent thousands in the past with you. The company has got too big and forgets about the loyal customers.

This will be my third review for a garden centre,not bad for a person who hates gardens,gardening,gardeners and Graham Gardner.To be fair though we only went to buy some niger seed with which to feed the garden birdies,and as usual we came away with several things,none of which had anything to do with gardening. They really do have a wide selection of stuff,especially in the shop that they also own across the road. This place sells jams,toys,clothes,pens,popping candy,kitchen things and things with your name on. I say your name especially if you are called Leo,not Lee,Leo. They had quite a lot of Leo related stock.I have reached the age of 40 with only knowing one Leo on a personal level and that was over 20 years ago.If you are reading this Leo,I know where you can get a pen with your name on it! Lined up outside the shop are three lawn mowers and a cement mixer. They all appear used and I think they are for rent. Inside they sell a range of D.I.Y. and gardening equipment including the usual range of tools, screws and nails, garden hoses, lawn strimmers, wallpaper steamers, high-vis jackets...and so on - so it basically covers most of the tools and accessories you'd need for D.I.Y. in the home, garden or on a patio or driveway. As the shop is so new and they are still ordering things in, so don't yet have their full range of stock, it's difficult to give them a truly representative review, but they seem to cater for a wide range of D.I.Y. projects at reasonable prices and the staff seem knowledgeable and helpful.

But be wary of doing DIY on a bank holiday - statistically its the most dangerous day (haha).

I live in a smokeless area so purchased this stove as it is DEFRA approved for burning in a smokless area. ( I didn't know this until I spoke to one of the staff). The price was good, service was quick and efficient with good communication. Be advised that the company that deliver, leave the stove outside as they are not allowed to bring the item in the house (it is on a small pallet), but this was not really a problem as my son assisted me in getting it into the house. Luckily this only weighted about 80 kilos, but apparently some weigh much more. I encountered no problems and would happily recommend.

The first four were student accommodation so we were in definite need of some flora and fauna to disguise the mess and chaos. A stack of empty beer cans looks far more respectable with a cyclamen watching over them with an air of mature authority! The people who run the stall are helpful and knowledgeable, directing me when I have needed indoor or outdoor plants and educating me in the benefits of plant food. On asking for some plants that did not require too much care or attention, I was swiftly guided towards some hardy foliage, with a knowing look. The larger plants in particular are much cheaper than the ones of a similar size in chain stores. There is a fantastic range, which includes fresh herbs, cacti and many other leafy beauties. We got a Christmas tree with a fantastic shape and height this year, for a very reasonable fee. This stall has a gorgeous old cash till which must be an antique, an attractive feature to notice. All in all, a great place to stock up on a lovely bit of vegetation to brighten up your house.

Selling many different types (and I do not claim to be an expert in this field) ranging from very small to medium/large plants, if you are after anything massive, you might want to go elsewhere, or ask the owner if he can get hold of what you're after. Greenery always brightens up any atmoosphere, and The Plant Shop certainly does that. If you need any plant advice, don't hesitate to ask the owner. I think I may have just saved one of my plants at home!
