I asked if they could pump my tank that day and I mentioned it was 15,000 gallons. After a few questions from Chris he said it's probably only a 1000 gallon tank. Greg came out that afternoon and confirmed it was a 1000 Gallon tank, which saved me a $100, the other company had always charged me for 15,000 gallons. Greg worked real hard to pump it completely dry, it was a couple of years over due and had more sludge than it should have. I commend Hartland Septic (and Greg) for a job well done! I had plans to install my septic in March '21 and the frost on roads…read morekept heavy equipment off of them - Universal kept in touch with me to assure of the earliest possible date. When they came out to prepare the install, I shared my dissatisfaction with another septic installer's plan approved by the county (I didn't know any better). Eric the owner suggested a different approach, which completely met my request and got everything approved, installed and cleared up in short order - I was thrilled. The storms came in July and trees dropped everywhere, power was out. Our Electric Company came out to restore power and restring power lines where trees took them out. You would think they would see the Universal Septic sign I put right over the tank and field but they didn't, they drove right over the tank. I called Eric for help, he came out and saw the tank was crushed. He gave me a replacement estimate really fast, after all the communication was completed, he installed the new tank in just a few days. You can't ask for better communication, service and responsiveness. I had contacted 4 different installers and got a lot of delay, lack of return phone calls and over-pricing.
