I have to bump Bon Voyage up to 5 stars because I was willing to make a side trip from my Portland vacation to Seattle just to shop there then eat at The Blue Glass. One of the owners mentioned that they're considering expanding to Los Angeles. I'll be waiting and watching because that's a MUCH easier drive from San Francisco!

The store is located in the pioneer section of town. It's a nice sized store which looks like two adjoining stores. It is packed. This is definitely a pickers delight. You will have to have patience to go through each rack. Plenty of T-shirts, more on the casual kitchy style, lots of vintage and decent prices.

It's like I'm walking into 1992-back when you could always fine some choice vintage threads at your local thrift store. Nowadays it's so hard to find cool stuff, but this store has the goods. And the vibe of this place is so reminiscent of Funk You on Capitol Hill from back in the day. Had a great afternoon going through almost every item until I found a sweater that Kurt Cobain would have rocked. BTW, the owner is rad and gave me a discount. This only happens with small business owned by cool people.

Yet another locally owned family business that's open for patronage during these tough times. I've been following their IG (BonVoyageVintage) for years, even pre pandemic because they do so many amazing and inspiring flat lays and shoots of their wares. They carry many small, locally made lines as well (jewelry, print goods, etc) and always accessorize every look. Post-pandemic, Instagram is the way to shop--they post available items and accept Venmo as payment. I was shocked at how fast I got my items. Excellent customer service, and I'll be creepin' that IG to get the best stuff first! It's first come first served, so hit those alerts and shop your lockdown blues away. read more

This is a cute vintage shop with lots of eclectic items to browse through. The employee made the experience especially enjoyable with their welcoming and friendly demeanor. We each picked up a pair of sunglasses for $16, which felt like a great deal. I'd definitely come back! read more

what a place! Great selection of vintage clothing for all genders and sizes. Owner (I'm assuming) is very knowledgeable about their pieces and was extremely helpful about finding certain styles within the store. Went in there during the summer and it was cool, kinda pricy, but fun to window shop. Saw someone come into consign and the process looked so painless. Like 2 friends (maybe they did know each other or was a regular)... went like 2 weeks ago and basically got ushered out cause I brought some vintage items to consign. Didn't attempt to look at items, super condescending guy :/ can't tell if it was the same one I saw in the summer but they looked similar. I guess they are nice if they think you have money. Which I get but jeez.... On principle never going there again. read more

Visiting Seattle last week with family and we stumbled upon this shop. My wife and daughter had a great time shopping. I chatted with the owner Keith who was very friendly & knowledgeable about Seattle and the neighborhood. This place is great. Secondhand goods at the mid-high range, but the pieces considered for sale have plenty of character and wear to them. The shop's footprint is sizeable so it's not too stuffy, although the air has that familiar old-lady, rusted copper, vintage smell to it. It's great, worth a visit. read more

This shop is a cute, family owned store that you will not regret visiting! I went in here on a whim after hearing about it through friends for about a year in Seattle, and I instantly felt welcomed and among friends. You won't meet nicer people, and the selection really is phenomenal. Appropriately priced vintage finds without the pretentious energy of other stores around the city. I drop by almost every lunch break just to search for anything new and talk to whoever is keeping the shop for the day. Shopping here is like a treasure hunt, best if you don't know what you're looking for. I needed an 80's "prom" dress. The store is full of different items but had a section of dresses. The owner filled a dressing room and helped me choose a couple, but I would have liked to purchase more. Parking was a breeze at 4:30 pm on a Wed and again at 11:00am on Thurs. Surprise! I got my online order really quickly and it was like opening Christmas presents! Everything was lovely--the scented spray, the soap, roll-on perfume, and greeting card I ordered. At our store You will find a selection of fun handpicked vintage men's and women's clothing mostly 1950s to 1990s , shoes, and accessories. We also carry curated new items, handmade , local jewelry , gifts, candles, art, and host art walk every first Thursday from 6-9pm. Come check us out! ;) Also rotating vendors in our vintage mall. Well... more accurately, my fiance wandered over there while I was spending too much time checking out Urban Plant's pop-up at Handmade Showroom. BUT, once I got my plants, I found him over there looking at the lovely, handmade leather goods at Bezel & Kiln. We loved the notebooks and journal covers. We even saw a gorgeous passport holder. Ultimately I ended up buying my fiance this awesome, leather notebook cover for his Moleskin and pen. Not only was it reasonably priced, but it was gorgeous AND we're supporting artists! I'm definitely going to stop back next time in at PP!

Baleen is one of my favorite shops in Seattle to buy handmade jewelry! I've been here multiple…read moretimes and my jewelry is still going strong, even in the shower. The jewelry is sold at a very reasonable price. They also sell products from other brands, like Baggu and Chunks, to name a couple. The staff is also very friendly and you can try on most of the jewelry before committing.

I had an awful experience and am pretty upset about it. Don't order online from them. They jam your…read moreentire order, no matter the value, into a single USPS package, which is only insured for up to $100, and with their brand plastered on the outside, making it a target for mail theft but impossible to be fully reimbursed for if/when the contents get stolen. After a number of emails back and forth, they were not able to send me the original mailing receipt which is required to file a claim with USPS, so it seems unlikely I'll get anything from the claim anyways. They even gave me a "tip" that I should look into getting a secure mailbox, as if that would prevent an empty box from being delivered in the first place. In the end, I spent $140 for a box with nothing more than tissue paper and promotional material. Oh, did I mention they generously offered to send me the products again if I pay 60% more than I already paid? Thanks, but definitely not going to throw more money in your direction only to lose it again. Update: Just to clarify, this is not a case of mailbox theft...I was physically delivered an empty box by the carrier. There is always risk involved with shipping, and as the shipper, it's your responsibility to ship in a way that reasonably reduces risk and puts shipping liability on the carrier. Since you put more than $100 of your product in a box that's only covered for up to $100, you put the risk on the customer. I can't possibly be refunded now. You also could have reduced risk within reason by not advertising on the outside of the box that there is jewelry inside.

This was my first farmer's market in Washington and it was utterly magical!…read more The produce quality is so amazing and I loved all the variety! The flowers were beyond beautiful. I don't think I have seen more beautiful blooms anywhere else! I love that it was heavily focused on local small businesses, farmers, and FOOD. We stopped for a few bites along the way and were blown away every time. So good. This market is huge and stretches for a few blocks, so be sure to come early and give yourself ample time to explore. Also, with it being in Ballard, there are a ton of cool, hipster shops to browse while you're in the area.

You can pick from the pre-made arrangements, buy single stems or ask them to make an arrangement just for you.

Absolutely amazing! I came in with family about a month ago to find gifts for some friends back home. Beautiful shop, awesome clothing, and wonderful oddities abound. Chief was working at the time, and I cannot possibly describe how wonderful they were. But I can try. Chief made us feel instantly welcome, unpressured, and yet like we could have any questions answered if we needed it. It was over the course of talking to them while looking through some pieces of jewelry(which they source from a local artist!) that it set in that I felt like I was talking to one of those neighbors who you are entirely at home with. Someone you would go over to chat with after work to unwind. I cannot recommend this place, and Chief enough. read more

I stopped by Bon Voyage Vintage recently and had a cool experience. I mentioned I was moving to Minnesota soon, and Keith surprised me with this awesome Minnesota-themed coffee mug as a gift. How thoughtful is that? Keith runs a really neat shop with all sorts of unique stuff. The vibe there is super chill, and Keith himself is just the friendliest guy. Probably the best vintage store I've been to in Seattle so far? The store owners (Keith and Meg) are so nice and welcoming!! The store has a lot of unique products collected from various vendors and local artists, the pricing was very reasonable. I was there for 3 hours and that seems not enough bc everything was just so fun! Definitely going to visit again! Best luck to your business! read more

The folks at Bon Voyage are way cool. It's a super cool shop tucked away on South Washington Street in Pioneer Square, and one of those "Diamond in the rough" businesses that we will make a point to visit regularly since their inventory is always changing with high quality stuff.... The store has really cool accessories and clothing you can definitely find your vibe in there, the owner is really nice and will help you out with whatever you need any time. I strolled into this place without realizing how much I was about to walk out with. They have so many awesome clothes, bags, pins, purses, the works!
