That is until I went to Grand Family Dentistry on Jones Creek in Baton Rouge. I had to go to get some relief from a tooth that was hurting severely. I informed the staff how I struggle with fear and anxiety. This staff took care of my issues like never before. Kay and Tara got me situated and prepped - x rays first. Then an angel of a doctor appeared, Dr. "D" they call her. She was so caring and reassuring, going over my x rays with me. A topical deadening product was applied and was given enough time to do its job. Then she injected my gums with more deadening product - she was amazing - no pain. Then nitrous oxide was administered and the tooth was extracted, one stitch and it was time to turn off the nitrous oxide. This was absolutely the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had. No pain whatsoever- no apprehension, no anxiety and no fear. I have been back twice for additional work and will continue to go to Grand Family Dentistry where Dr. "D", Kay and Tara are absolutely the best at what they do. Yes, I highly recommend this place.

He and my husband immediately started talking about sports, then family and finally dental history and health. The environment is very relaxing. The ladies are very sweet and helpful. Dr is not rough and informs you of everything he's getting ready to do or doing at that moment. He takes most insurances and their prices are very reasonable. At first the name turned me off because I thought an artistic dentist has to be pricey, but NOPE not at all ! I'd recommend this office too anyone for emergency issues or definitely a long-term dentist !

Throughout all of those years, we never had a complaint and had a great deal of trust in the practice. Unfortunately, my recent experience under the new owner, Dr. Loftin, has been extremely disappointing. I inquired about Invisalign to close the gap between my front teeth. During my consultation, I was given a detailed explanation of the process, provided a quote, and shown a 3D simulation illustrating how my teeth were expected to move and what my smile would look like at the end of treatment. Based on that information, I committed to the treatment and followed all of the instructions I was given. After paying thousands of dollars, wearing Invisalign for months, and completing all of the trays provided, the gap between my front teeth is still there. It is essentially the same size as it was before treatment. Looking at my smile, you would not know that I had undergone Invisalign treatment at all. What has been especially upsetting is that, after investing so much time and money, the solutions offered to me were either veneers--which would require spending even more money--or possibly adding something to the back of my mouth to shift my teeth forward. I understand that dental treatment does not always produce perfectly predictable results. However, after being shown a 3D representation of the expected outcome, paying thousands of dollars, completing the prescribed treatment, and following the instructions, I expected a meaningful improvement in the issue I specifically sought treatment to correct. Instead, I feel worse about my smile than I did before I started. After being a loyal patient for more than 20 years, this experience has been particularly disappointing.

Louisiana Dental Center was able to work me in the next day despite not being an established patient. The office staff, nurses, and doctors were all very kind and efficient (I was in and out in 35 minutes!) Even though my chip was minor, they still took x-rays to make sure there was no infection or damage to my nerves. Will definitely be back if I need dental assistance while I'm a student!

I went from 3-4 days of excruciating unbearable tooth and face pain to being pain free, in less than 30 minutes, and root canal complete in about 55-75 minutes ( I fell asleep, as soon as I was numb, I'm not sure how long it took). I went to my dentist and they called got me scheduled for an hour later. For those that are afraid like I was, they numb you with a local, before they give you the shots to numb you fully. There was a little pinch of pain, when the needle had to go a little deeper, but nothing too bad, just close your eyes and you'll almost do not feel it. The doctor and staff were so kind and patient. No need for fear of judgement from them, which has been what's held me back for years, even after knowing I needed dental work done. Hopefully I never have to go back, but if ever again I need a root canal, I'm headed straight to Dr Simon. Thank yall so much!!!!
