I want to preface this review with the theme that customer service means NOTHING to the employee I spoke to on the phone. I'm sure this business makes great balloon bundles + delivers on time, but no other business employee has ever made me feel more stupid, confused, and uneasy during the entire process. First, my colleague emailed them twice last week. No answer, so she asks me to call. First call goes to voicemail as I get a text message at the exact same time saying "please text us instead". I call again because I'd prefer to place an order over the phone (which I think would have prevented this whole issue entirely). Someone answers and goes "Hi please send us a text message!" and hangs up on me before I could even finish speaking. So I place the order over text, goes smooth, but we did have a few changes before finalizing it.There was a point where miscommunication happened on how payment works and I expressed I was confused. And this is where things got bad - he started telling me HE was confused, texting me saying "did you reply? you never did." He told me, verbatim, "I have the best communication there is". How can you say that when I'm literally just expressing to you that as a paying customer, I am confused on the process. He literally told me I have nothing to be confused about - since when do employees get to decide that for customers? The best part is he THEN calls me - to yell at me more about how his communication is perfect and how I'm the problem! I was kind of laughing at one point because I was baffled that this man just had to be right so badly, he wanted to call me and tell me I'm wrong. The amount of attitude I felt via text message was shocking. Again, I understand there was definitely a miscommunication, but never in my life have I been spoken to this way from a business employee. And pro tip: take orders over the phone. Putting customers into situations where they only text is a recipe for disaster. (The employee will argue that he tried calling me a few times, but note that was only when he wanted my credit card payment). A message to the man I spoke to on the phone: YOU DO NOT TALK TO PEOPLE THAT WAY. It's rude and embarrassing. I've worked 10+ years in the service industry, and I've never ONCE let my ego of being right interfere with business and keeping a customer happy. Customer service 101. Be careful planning with this company. I planned an 80th birthday balloon delivery for my dad turning 80 but my father was ill and didn't make it to the celebration. Although I gave them more than a 48 hour notice of cancellation they only refunded 50% which is such a money grab - I cannot see how they had sunk costs into this delivery - they have not prepared anything and got plenty of notice to rearrange the schedule. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH RECEIVING A WRONG ORDER! Where do I begin... I placed an order on 10/16 to be delivered on 10/28 for a mini garland and balloon bouquet. Before placing my order I called the business and spoke to the owner and was told I am able to get these items in any color I like and would just need to note them in the notes of my order. As you can see from the photo I asked for white, gold and silver balloons. On 10/28 a lovely delivery woman brings a white, silver and copper/brown garland and a pink balloon bouquet, which is not what I ordered and did not match. The balloon bouquet was fixed and re-delivered in the colors I ordered an hour later. When I called to ask about the garland, the owner told me they had no gold balloons so they decided to go with copper since they are "basically the same color". The owner's response and lack of concern of the huge inconvenience I experienced by having BOTH items I ordered arrive incorrectly was shocking. I asked him why he didn't call me and ask me what replacement color I wanted and he responded "most people don't care." The theme of the cake and other decorations I ordered was white, gold, and silver and the bronze/copper balloons in the garland did not look well with the new gold bouquet. The worst part of this entire ordeal is that the owner REFUSED to make any accommodations to make up for his error - no partial refund, no offer to fix it and not even any courtesy balloons for free. His only proposed resolution was for me to return the garland for a full refund, which meant the entire birthday surprise for my friend would be ruined because there was no way for me to order from somewhere else in such short notice. I DO NOT recommend ordering from this business especially if you are planning an event with a certain theme/color scheme in mind because the owner can randomly decide to change one of your theme colors with a color that he deems to be "close enough." He also lied and said there were absolutely no gold balloons in all of Miami, with one phone call I found some gold balloons and offered to purchase them if he agreed to fix/replace them with the bronze balloons - of course his response was "No". His handling of my order was extremely unprofessional and his inability to take accountability to correct the issue made matters much worst. I do commend the delivery lady who was courteous and nice even though she too was inconvenienced by having to return to my location a second time because of her company's error. read more

I placed an order online from Bond Party for the $105.93 "Congratulations" balloon bouquet. After a few days of trying to call and get in touch with the company to see were my bouquet was since it never got to its destination, I finally got through. The delivery was supposed to happen on a Tuesday 4pm, and by Friday there were still no balloons. The company never emailed me with a confirmation number, an order update, or anything similar. Friday I spoke to Melvin who was to blame everyone but themselves for the delivery that I never got. According to him the balloons were delivered (but there's is no signature for it or a name of the person who received it). Next, I tried peacefully ending the situation by asking if we could just get another bouquet delivered to replace the one that I never received. By now, I have wasted my morning in balloons. He agreed. Everyone is happy, right? No. He texted saying to do an investigation and ask for security tapes of the building to see what happened to the balloons (?!?!?!!?!?) This is a balloon bouquet we are talking about, not a wallet or a watch. Consequently I texted back saying "Melvin, I was trying to end this on a positive note but my time is more valuable than the money I've lost ordering through your company. Please consider me a lost costumer and expect a review. Feel free to investigate yourself" To which his answer was: "Dear, delivering balloons one more time is not a issue. First of all, the reviews is not a threat this days, they can be post and they can be deleted. I appreciate of you mentioning this multiple times and i do understand your time as well. But you still didnt answer my question, what happened if they loose again?" So here is my 1 star review. I received a "will call back" text after no answer on 1/29. After exchanging a few text messages he said he would check again buy the end of the day, but no reply. After calling and texting again, days later, I have still not received a call or text back. But then the day of the scheduled delivery, nothing arrived. No one answered the phone -- it rang until an automatic message said the mailbox was full. I was referred to Bond through Loews Hotel. I was visiting Miami for the first time, celebrating a 30th birthday. I was excited Loews had a business relationship with Bond so that a balloon arrangement could be left in my hotel room prior to my guest and I arriving. What I thought would be a wonderful surprise, turned out to be a huge disappointment. I read that they work with A-list celebrities so you'd think they'd be on their game but they're weren't. After reaching out several times, no one would return my calls or texts. Has bond reached a level of success where they no longer seek business with non celebrities? Perhaps. I didn't think to check their Yelp page until after my experience, only to find other people received a lsck of response too. Given that Loews referred me, I'll be posting my experience there as well. Perhaps Loews will have better customer service and see how their business relationships can affect theirs. I ultimately had no success and ended up with no balloon arrangement. Very dissapointed. read more
