Crazy part: We were supposed to fly out from California to Miami on 4th of July Weekend and United Airlines cancelled all of our flights out including the rescheduled flight to Miami 8 hours before take off. We were struggling to cancel the rest of our activities and stays and had to take partial refunds but Greg came in clutch for us as the honorable man he is. When it was time to pay, when I asked for my ID back she told me I wouldn't get my ID back until after payment. We paid in cash, and she still didn't return it -- I had to ask another employee to track it down. The food and drinks were good, but the service was poor and unwelcoming, especially for a $300 bill. I was also disappointed that I was not able to even order my cousin a birthday desert to celebrate. As four Black women, the overall experience felt uncomfortable and off-putting. I wouldn't return.

Furthermore, a different promoter approached my friends and me while at dinner Friday night and invited us to a totally different pre-party at the SLS. We stopped by to check it out and it was a disaster, and we promptly left. I add this in to say that not all "promoters" are created equal, and I am so thankful that we worked with Sam and didn't leave it up to fate / some random dude on the street to invite us to X,Y,Z once we got there.
