When you go in you will be treated with very welcoming front desk and they call or text us to make sure come 15 min early to the appointment. When I have eye exam appointment it's really quick; you usually don't wait any longer than 5-10 min and get done in 20 min. They have a lot of modern technology like retinal screening that you don't need to dilate your eyes for exams to quickly get over the exam and it only takes few min. After everything was examined, the doctor (Dr. Carlin this time, Dr. Waguespack is great too) came out and explained everything and answered all my question. While everything was quick, it was not rushed and and I got a comprehensive assessment and clear feedback what I should be doing to better my eye health. The best part was the staff; the front desk was so nice, checked on my well being and made sure if my insurance was able to cover without asking. After ordering contacts she deliberately give me a lot of contact solutions to take home and I was so thankful. It was such a very good experience overall.

I needed a pair of contacts since I was not able to see and with this heat it's almost impossible to keep your eyeglasses on your face without it slipping off. I searched for the nearest optometrist office and this office popped up. Luckily, they were able to take me in very quickly, and Dr. Carlin was able to see me. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and very accommodating since I had my two littles one with me. I have really dry eyes so he gave me several pairs of trial contacts to try to see which one fits my eyes best. Dr. Carlin did a very thorough exam and explained everything to me. In between the exam he'll also check in with the kids to make sure they were not bored. Ihighly recommend this office and Dr. Carlin. His professionalism and his knowledge made me feel comfortable walking into this office, and knowing I'll receive the best service. Your eyes are really important so I'm glad I was able to take care of it with someone I can trust.

In December of 2021 I had Williamson Eye Clinic do cataract surgery on both eyes at my expense of…read more$6000. I had been laid off in the spring of 2020 so there wasn't any insurance to apply. My issue is that right away I called them within a week feeling something was not right. I was told to give it six months and come in for a cleaning. I waited six months but was told when I set my appointment that the warranty on their surgery was only good for six months. They wanted $1000 to clean each eye. I let them do one and nothing made a difference. Jump ahead to June 2026. I have been looking through a fog since the initial surgery. Today I had surgery on my left eye because part of the cataract was left in my eye. Nice job and delaying me until their warranty was past. I am stunned because this has effected my life greatly and I finally found a Doctor in Michigan who is correcting their terrible job done. Jdurb

Now let me be upfront, I've never used this place for eye exams for me or my kids, never bought…read moreframes from them... however I have used them twice for issues involving my kids' eyeglasses.... that's what this review will cover.... I've had 2 instances in the last 6 weeks with my kids and their sight equipment... first time baby girl had the leg on her glasses come off when the screw fell out. I didn't have a replacement screw and I didn't feel like driving into Baton Rouge to the place where the glasses were bought so I figured I'd pay whatever they charged to get it done local... stopped in asked if they could repair, didn't tell them I'd never been here before.... they said sure in under 10 minutes glasses back together and in my hand....I say what's the cost? They say nothing, free service...to myself I'm like Damn that's great! Thank them and leave.... A few weeks later the boy comes in with the lens out of his glasses... dropped them he said.... Back I go, the folks here look at them and 10 minutes later completely repaired.... how much I ask? Nothing, free service they say.... again I'm like Damn that's great! I'm pretty sure they know I've never used them before for eye exams but the staff has been 100% friendly, efficient and professional.... they offer exams, frames and lenses and after my repair experiences I'm thinking I may have to start taking my kids here.... I'll wholeheartedly give them my endorsement because if my experience as a non-customer is any indication I expect they treat all their customers great!
