Very pleased with the the entire staff. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff welcomed us by name, and worked with us promptly and warmly. The facilities were very nice and there were a few toys/books that my toddler enjoyed in the waiting area. The nurse that took us back for questions was friendly, thoughtful, and made my daughter and I feel at ease. Dr. D Mitchell was exceptional with handling my daughter's first eye visit. He made her feel comfortable and she was smiling and entertained by his "games." As of yet, no other Dr. has been as talented with handling her. I started going to Dr. Lisa Mitchell approximately two years ago. Following my first visit, I made appointments for my entire family because I was extremely impressed by the level of care I received from Dr. Mitchell, who diagnosed an issue with me that other ophthalmologists had missed at my annual check-ups. Over the past two years, I've had to contact the office to purchase contacts or other eye related emergencies, and the service has remained at a level of excellence. (The staff is incredible!) 44 years ago I started wearing glasses & contacts. With that being said, I've had appointments with a number of "eye doctors". In all honesty, Dr. Lisa Mitchell is the only O.D. that has prescribed me contacts where I do not need "readers" to read a book/paper AND I can still see at a distant. She's a life saver! I see Dr. Lisa and have absolutely no problems with the care and medical attention that I receive from her and her staff. They are always prompt in seeing you when your appointment is scheduled unlike most other doctor offices that might take you to the back way after your appointment time.
