Her solution for my pain was to prescribe gabapentin and cyclobenzeprene. I told her I had already tried both and they didn't help at all. She prescribed both anyways. After jumping through their hoops and going to PE at Bone and Joint, another joke, an MRI was ordered. This was months ago and they've never called me to let me know the results are in or to go over the results. It was all just a money grab. Prescribe pills and order tests and then never even give me the results or come up with a plan to help me. I will never set foot in there again. After this experience, I've talked to so many people about their negative experiences from Bone and Joint. Wish I would have known this ahead of time. LESSON LEARNED!

He said I could start treatment on the spinal decompression machine without reviewing my imaging beforehand, which I found extremely unprofessional--especially since that was what he intended to do on the first day of my consultation. He also performed tests on my spine without reviewing my imaging that I worked hard to compile and bring with me, nor did he care to ask about the timeline of my injury or surgery, which made me feel uneasy and tense throughout the visit and afterwards. The doctor was also very confusing to communicate with during the consultation appointment, often saying things that didn't make sense and difficult to follow, which added to my frustration and made me even more uneasy about proceeding with treatment. I was also concerned about how he could set the machine properly without reviewing imaging to know where to target. Later, I confirmed with the manufacturer that the areas I was most concerned about are not even directly accessible by this machine despite being misled by the doctor into thinking that they would be, which made me distrust the information I was being given even more. In addition, I was told I'd have to pay over $5,000 upfront for a full treatment package, with no option to pay per visit or try a single session first. The office staff were also difficult to communicate with, often unable to give clear information about pricing or the equipment, and seemed frustrated when I asked questions to better understand the treatment. Overall, the experience felt rushed, confusing, and focused on money rather than patient care. I left feeling anxious, tense, and very uncomfortable, and I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a careful or trustworthy provider.

Sadly, I can not comment on whether it actually helps or not I suffer with arthritis in 3 main areas - neck, low back and hands.. they would only focus on one, and chose the hands to work up a treatment plan for. 26 sessions, done twice a week for 13 weeks at an hour and a half per session... the total cost quoted was well over $15,000 with half required up front.. and all for maybe a 20-30% improvement in pain... Sorry, but this is crazy expensive and completely unaffordable for someone on a fixed income of just over $1300/mo. It is a crying shame that poor people have to suffer because we cant afford some of the treatment options that are out there.. IF I.P.S. really & truly wanted to help people, they would make this more affordable so anyone could get the help they need, not just the rich. Now this company wont stop hounding me. I have told them in text and over the phone that we would not be using them. I have asked our primary care Physician to send out referrals to two other clinics that way we can get other opinions and see about other treatments. This clinic is rude, pushy and downright disrespectful.

If he would have done simple blood test and chest x-ray which another doctor there DID do 3 days later when we came back, it wouldn't have been misdiagnosed, but Tang was too busy and couldn't wait to get us out of his office. My husband was admitted to the hospital which they said then that if we had waited another day or so, he probably would have died. If Tang would have diagnosed correctly in the first place, my husband might have avoided all of that. Also, have had a PA tell me she wouldn't prescribe birth control (which is prescribed to me for hormone therapy NOT birth control, and I explained this to her) because it was against her religion!! Front desk says your address and phone number for entire waiting room to hear. They don't care if you get your ID stolen, obviously. They also can't handle getting medical records assembled when asked.
