I had been going to, and trusted this Doctor with my Health for Years. Despite schedualing…read morenumerous appointments only to see him arrive at the Office two hours after I had been waiting, I still went. Long story short, after years of suffering from a debilitating Auto Immune Condition with symptoms clearly visible to the naked eye, I was continuously told that I could go back to work and that nothing was wrong with me. Instead of believing that I was sick, he constantly berated me for smoking cigarettes. A short time after switching Doctors, a simple blood test at a Rheumatologist (that the new Doctor wondered why I was not referred to), proved I had Sjogrens. As a result of the delay, I exhausted all of my legal claims to Social Security Disability Insurance, and his Medical Records made me appear to be a fake in Court. I can no longer work, my health continues to decline, and if I grow old enough to see this until the end, I will be homeless, living off of Food Stamps, and the Temporary Disability Assistance Program in Maryland does not cover long term illness until Death. If he does not believe his patients, or does not like his job, he clearly needs to find another line of work! Words cannot express the Damage he has done to my life. BTW, this Doctor is NOT on Swan Creek Road. He is at 14310 Old Marlboro Pike in Upper Marlboro, MD.

The other staff that I encountered during my visit were also very welcoming, professional, and just a joy to interact with. Is it weird to be excited about a doctors office? I might officially be weird!

I was referred to Clearway Pain Solutions by the veteran affairs team. I was assigned to Charles…read moreKersten who not only didn't review my records from 5Jun2026 but also wasn't prepared to do preliminary to start treatments. He explained that some services must be referred out. He stated he will give me a referral and as long as the facility excepts VA insurance, I can go to that agency. I called a clinic & then the VA & they also confirmed that it was incorrect what Kersten said. The VA sent over how to properly request referring VA patients to other specialty doctors 10Jun. I gave it to clearway portal 11Jun. I received a phone call 23Jun from an unknown facility that stated Kersten gave my privacy information to them so I can make an appointment. I called the VA & they confirmed that Kersten never sent a request for the previous referral 11Jun nor the new referral 23Jun. If I would've went, I would've been stuck with the bill. Kersten has done a disservice with my privacy information, zero communication or follow-up to me , has lied & failure to observe VA protocols. Training to all physicians at Clearway must be accomplished asap for handling veterans.
