Witek only gave me one good piece of advice and i found him to be a jerk for the main part of the meeting we had. He made me feel embarrassed and upset when i left. not once did he have any sympathy for me or my legal issue. like most lawyers, they tend to blame the client for their problem. His office is not one that i would of expect to see a long-time lawyer having. Hire or consult with anyone but him.

I was dependent upon my team (realtor, lawyer, title company, etc.) to successfully complete the transaction. The home I was purchasing was a Town-home that was foreclosed on, so I was essentially buying it from the bank. The Town-home community has monthly condo fees for things like lawn maintenance, snow removal etc. I was advised throughout the entire process of the monthly price. It was expensive but I loved the home. Despite the high costs, all was good because it was my decision, I "thought" I had all the facts and I had my finances drawn out to perfection. Two weeks after closing, I get a bill in the mail. It is my monthly condo fee, with an additional $150 ONTOP of the standard fee, that is also owed EVERY month. So in other words, I have an additional monthly payment on-top of the original. Apparently, there was a $5,000 roof assessment fee that was never brought to my attention. My "lawyer" who I hired to do things like read between the lines for me as I am not accustomed to dissecting contracts or home purchasing in general. Not only did he not catch it, but he could have easily protected me in my contract noting any additional assessments would be a required by the seller to pay. I have spoken to many real estate lawyer's now after the fact to figure out my rights. Apparently this clause would have protected me and its easy and standard. Me. Witek was lazy, lax, non-responsive through the process. It will take him a week to respond with a 1 sentence response via email (this is not an exaggeration by any means) shame on me for not picking up on the red flags. Mr. Witek collected my money and did nothing for me. He is now taking zero accountability, and has left me in the dust with no solution. He has not offered any sort of solution. Additionally, his actual work space is dingy, old and had an odor. You can tell by the facility the firm is not largely successful and now I and hopefully you know why. He is not thorough, he is non-responsive to emails. and takes no accountability. He makes it clear you're not a priority. I am now a single woman, first time home buyer with over $500 monthly in Condo fees. This is a completely separate payment from the mortgage, taxes, insurance, etc. Have you ever heard of a town home buyer with a $500 condo fee monthly? No you haven't, because it's ridiculous and unheard off. I strongly urge you look elsewhere for legal counsel.

Last year, the attorney assigned to me, Bausch, was unprepared for the case and did not spend enough time with me learning about it. Instead, he went in half prepared and when we lost, he told me that I did not speak as instructed even when the judge didn't allow me to speak anyway. Although the judge was not being fair or technical to understand the ramifications of the case to begin with, the attorney did not even speak up and instead, asked my opposing party strange irrelevant questions that had nothing to do with the facts or the case.
