I still decided to get the glasses because I really needed them, and the doctor was very kind, but overall, I don't feel the appointment was worth the $135 for just about ten minutes. Dr. Veliky explained that although the diagnosis was correct, it really was nothing that needed immediate surgery. His honesty was welcomed and refreshing. I will return to this office if needed.

Is it possible to leave no stars? I can't believe I went back to this place after my bad experience…read morelast year, but for convenience sake I just got the appointment for my daughter again. Between these last two visits, the office staff initially told her they don't DO eye exams (huh?!) and that she should leave, after I purposely made the appointment for that reason. She went back in later that day to get her eye exam when they said, oh, you wanted an EYE exam! They didn't know how to bill her for the service, overcharged then reversed the charge, and tried to tell my daughter she needed an extra exam(=more $) for a different type of contact. Dr. Liva stressed how very important it was that she take the prescription medication for floaters, which they didn't even give her when she walked out. He then proceeded to speak inappropriately to my daughter about her personal life. Yikes! How can someone be so bad and still be in business! One initial reason I went to them in the first place is they assured me they're in network for her eye exam. They're not. I couldn't figure out why the waiting room was so crowded with people until I realized there was probably a bomb threat going on down the hall and they needed some place to cop a squat till the all clear. I'd advise them to go back to the third world country that they come from but I've got too much respect for health care workers in third world countries.

When I got to my car..they were not polarized. I went back and told them. I had to wait for the rep that helped me. I told her the issue and she said the new ones will be in a week. I stopped in to get the new ones and they still were not right. She gave me a refund and also she wanted to make it right. So I went back in to see if they were in and were not. 2 more weeks went by and nothing. They finally said it's in. I went in only to find out they were sooo horrendous I was shocked. To top this off...a person that has been there for years could not see what I was talking about. I mean come on...at this point I wanted my glasses and leave and goto my original place. Claims it's on file but won't provide me a detailed receipt. Why not? This has always been my experience at competing optical stores. ASK FOR ITEMIZED RECEIPT AT TIME OF PURCHASE. Once you pay it's too late. Service - picked up glasses and they were handed to me with a card - I guess to read, but she moved onto to next customer (my husband) without asking me to read card, adjust frames, nothing. I guess once you pay for your glasses...customer service ends. Too many better places to go at this mall/location. Buyer Beware. Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well.
