We were uncertain (har!har!) what we'd find there but treasures were found by all. The most surprising and touching treasures for me were: 1. Making the acquaintance of (2) 3-week-old Nigerian dwarf goat/kid pets and their new "mama". It was love at first cuddle!! 2. Homemade strawberry fig preserves which I CANNOT wait to smother on some toast and ENJOY! The other couple with us found a great vintage-style wall hanging for their media room and some other Texan thingamajigs. Whether looking for something large, small, knicky, or knacky, or a bit dohicky - you could find some treasures here and if not - perhaps leave with some pleasant memories or having had a nice chat with one of the local booth owners.

It was a very unusual set up, crammed with items that looked like a bad garage sale or worse. There were a few vendors with "nicer" items, but most of it was junk and the prices you could see explained why we did not see anyone make a purchase. I did want to mention a small issue at checkout on my last visit. I gave $10 in cash and asked to pay the rest on my card. The total was $19.48, but it was accidentally rung up as if I paid the full amount in cash. When the remaining balance was charged to my card, I was taxed again, so I ended up being charged tax twice (a total of $2.33). I tried calling before the store closed but didn't get through. I know it was close to closing time and mistakes happen, especially after a long day, so I wasn't trying to make it complicated. If possible, I'd just appreciate having the extra tax refunded. Still a great shop and I'll definitely keep coming back!
