They have been so accommodating to my schedule and the kids absolutely love their days at this school. If I could give a 6 star rating I would. There are some days that I pick them up and they are bummed to leave. The learning curriculum is top-notch as well. I trust every teacher there and I know they want the best for my kiddos. The staff were kind, dedicated, and many of them had been there for years. Now, more than a decade later, my grandchildren are attending the same school, and it's amazing to see so much has stayed the same in the best possible way. The same owners and director are still there, and I still see many familiar faces when I pick up my grandchildren from time to time. That kind of consistency speaks volumes. Learning Years is truly a special place. The care they show for the children and families is genuine, and it's clear that their top priority is always the well-being of the kids. They expect them to finish "school work" and "assignments" even though they are pre-school and there are no true assignments for that age. (At least there shouldn't be) We had our child in first grade at the beginning of the year and removed him due to many blatant circumstances... one was due to a combined 1st and 2nd grade experience which he wasn't prepared for the combined learning and greatly divided attention based on acumen. They said they treat both separately but we were sent home with homework that was NOT for a first grader. This brings up a greater issue. We believe this school thinks of themselves as a higher/further educational school for bright children. They are not. They give work to children without the teaching/learning they need to actually accomplish the work. Unless you are the culture/lifestyle that also teaches your child at home, your child may be lost or left behind at this school. This has by far been the most "by the book/rules" "school" that I have seen for CHILDREN as young as three years old. Do we really think that three year olds should "finish their homework"? Do three year olds even need homework!? I believe enrolling my son in this school was one of the worst decisions I have made in my raising him to this date. He has been thriving and multitudes happier since attending public school I can't imagine why he hated this school so much.

Looking back, this explained his earlier reluctance and frequent complaints about nap time. Unfortunately, this teacher has sent us text message and email threatening legal action. We strongly believe no child should ever feel unsafe or mistreated in their learning environment.This preschool may not be equipped to handle high-energy children. While we hope no child or parent experiences what we did, we recommend that parents carefully research and trust their instincts before enrolling their child in any program. He told me, "The teacher hit my butt" and explained it was because he "wasn't napping." When I asked if it hurt, he replied, "No, it didn't hurt." Sometime soon after, he demonstrated by lightly spanking himself and saying, "Like this." My wife and I have never used physical discipline at home, so seeing him replicate this action was deeply concerning. While the school denied any wrongdoing, we believe this indicated the use of corporal punishment, even if it did not cause physical harm. Out of caution, we immediately stopped sending our child to the school. In January 2025, we received written communications from the school demanding that a Google review we did not write be removed. The communication threatened a defamation lawsuit if it was not taken down. This legal threat, combined with the initial incident, reinforced our discomfort with how the school handled the situation. I'm sharing these details so other parents can make an informed decision and discuss discipline methods thoroughly with any prospective preschool. While some families may not have concerns, our experience left us uneasy. We believe it's important to explain why we felt the need to leave, and we hope this helps others who are considering this school. -- Additional Thoughts for Other Families -- I am sharing this to help other parents make informed decisions. After posting my original review, the school responded in a way that raised further concerns for me. Specifically, they stated that my child needed special services, which is inaccurate--he was never determined to need such services, nor did he qualify for them. Additionally, their response references my wife in connection to this review, even though she did not author it. If she chooses to share her own perspective, that is her decision, but I believe responses should remain specific to the reviewer. Some of the wording in their reply also conveys a meaning that may not accurately reflect key facts. I encourage parents to carefully consider how a school communicates and handles feedback when making their decision.
