All but one of our five drivers was friendly. I'm not sure…read morewhy these buses would EVER be considered for overnight straight-through trips because the seats are WILDLY uncomfortable. Easily the most uncomfortable seats I've ever encountered in countless means of travel. The pitch for leg room was extremely prohibitive and the obtrusive seat belt latch point between the seats left severe bruises on my legs from trying to stretch out over two seats due to the lack of legroom. The air conditioning was kept so cold that we had to wear winter clothes and blankets in record hot summer temperatures which meant we were hot outside every time we stopped. The ONLY reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is the friendliness of most of the drivers.

They were responsive, timely, courteous, etc. Windstar worked with me at the last minute to get a larger bus, which most companies probably would not do days before an event. The bus was beautiful and transported all our guests safely to and from the venue.

We agreed to $100 trip charge and informed that the cost for labor was $100 per hour plus parts. The first tech came out and after 30 minutes he had no clue what was wrong. He said it would be too dangerous to continue on his own as he said it was probably a belt and the large hood had to be removed. He brought a second technician with him a week later and found a simple disconnect switch, on the outside of the building, was in the wrong position. Our church was charged $500 for this. The tech was accusatory in that he claimed one of our volunteers had to have done it. I don't suggest using this company as their practices of demanding a credit card up front are sketchy as best. After they rack up the charges, without getting full approval first, they hit that credit card and then you are stuck. We tried to resolve this with both the service and general manager but to no avail. Our video shows that the tech was not even working in the correct area of the issue to start with. Both managers failed to answer the question as to why a disconnect switch was not first checked. The statements of service are not even filled out indicating what they worked on. Not a trustworthy company.
