Unfortunately ThebHouse of Books & Tea would fall into the latter category. I've actually visited this bookstore three time. The first time I made a purchase, the second two times was to browse I'm hopes of purchasing and the third time was to offer my assistance volunteeringly. On my third visit I was met with hatred and prejudice and worst - judgement. It's so unfortunate given the nature of their business... selling books. I expected to find a group of creative, free thinking, intellectuals. What I discovered was a person full of hate.and emptiness. I wouldn't waste my time unless of course you are the type of individual to support this type of "thinking."

We came for the children's books, and I was pleased to see many selections I'd yet to see elsewhere. The prices are definitely higher than an online purchase, but you vote with your dollar, and this is one business I'm glad to support where I can! The general manager told me it's actually a book co-op, owned by share holders. It was very interesting to learn about! We will be frequenting this location when we are in the market for new books or just a relaxing cup of tea!
