Everything is well organized despite the maze and seeming disarray. They have 25c books outside and the prices inside are also great. Helpful staff and tons of parking! Right next door to the comic shop, in case you want a book store two-fer! Then hop across the street for some Shivers! There's your afternoon sorted.

This place is a mess! Stacks of books block the genre labels above the shelves, and even the new…read morebooks sections are untidy! Is this supposed to look rumpled and cool somehow? The lone teenage staff member did not greet me, and even put on big headphones for good measure. Having said that, I like their style of having many different new books, rarely seen at other bookstores, available, but in many cases just one of each title. There's nothing more boring than going to the classics section and seeing fifteen different publications of Little Women. Their used books (in the way back by the restroom) seem a lot cleaner and newer than is typical for a used bookshop, which was nice.

Denise, the owner…read moreof, is a mover and a shaker, constantly involved in literacy events, author events, teen book fairs, book clubs, etc. A great friend of local authors she regularly hosts author events (mine included) and is about as customer friendly as one can be. Denise opened the store right when I moved to Perrysburg. I stopped in very early on because I figured she'd last about 6 months, tops. Eight years later. . . Great place to browse, attend events, buy gifts or just talk books and writing with the staff.

If you struggle with mobility such as climbing steps and navigating uneven sidewalks, crowded, and/or tight spaces, this bookstore might not be accessible to you. If you are plus sized, you might struggle to navigate this place as well. There was a teeny tiny bathroom on the bottom floor. You have to get the key (with a map to find the bathroom, connected to a large block of wood so it doesn't get lost,) from a cashier near the entrance. The bathroom didn't look the best but it did the job.
