I found something great to give as a gift for my bestie at another store at this pop up event, which caused me to buy from Healthy Dog. Why? Because my bestie had a dog, a wonderful one called Elvis. I thought, let's send him a gift too! So i spoke with the business owners about what they were selling and how their treats are healthy and dogs love them. I noticed a bag which were Apple Stix. I said perfect!!!! I bought a bad to send to my bestie. She said Elvis absolutely loved them! I was very happy with this purchase!

Getting him anything is always a chore, as he is difficult to buy for. He is, though, a pretty religious guy and i thought this store might have something he would like. I was in luck, there was a statute of a Jesus fish made out of wood. He actually ended up really liking it, which is a rare thing as usually he never has liked my gifts. While here, though, i found this store also sells greeting cards, home and garden decor. Definitely something i love. More importantly, i found two gifts to give to my best friend apple for Christmas. They were side gifts to supplement the main item i would get her. One was a sign that said "I need 3 coffees, 6 puppies, & like 12 million dollars"... so her and "your the friend everyone wishes they had". She totally is the bestest friend i have ever had! She loved those when she got them. So an awesome store with stuff i would like for my home... that helped me find something my dad loved and also brought a smile to my best friend!!!! Score!! I was glad to see they carry Resmed machines, as I had a very bad experience with Phillips Dreamstation. I was told how to use the machine, which I was familiar with but still their thoroughness was appreciated. Good experience getting my CPAP, what more is there to say.

I stumbled upon Fettig's Flowers back during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk in March. I came here…read morebecause it was one of the stops in the walk, they gave everyone a chocolate rose. I loved the flower shop and promised myself I would return... took months due to covid but glad I came by. It's more than just a flower shop, although they do sell flowers and make arrangements. But, while in there I found a number of little pieces of home decor that I brought home... two pieces because it had a spiritual significance to me. During the early morning hours of the day I went to the flower shop, I got up from bed because I was thirsty. It was still dark out and I walked from my bedroom towards the kitchen. Several of my plants and trees in my backyard are lighted and I saw this beautiful cardinal perched on one of the trees. I am from Florida so I had never seen a Cardinal before. Beautiful bird. Later that morning, I was telling my mother about it and all of a sudden the cardinal flew into one of the windows. It was ok and flew away but certainly it was startling. I then went to this flower shop and I noticed a little statuette of an angel holding a cardinal and it said: When a cardinal appears in your yard, it is a visitor from heaven. I was shocked. Next to it was another angel statuette of an angel holding a butterfly and it said Butterflies are the heaven sent kisses of an angel. When I was young, my little sister died. It hurt a lot and I remember I was told... perhaps as a way to comfort me that if I ever saw a butterfly... it was my sister visiting me. Ever since then, I have had a connection to them and they always catch my sight. I may have grown up, and I may understand that butterflies are just an insect... a beautiful one but an insect. Nevertheless, I still carry that idea/fantasy close to my heart. Seeing those two together, made me want to buy them. Maybe I am deluding myself, but I felt the need to buy them. The store has lots of other decor for gardens and such... including beautiful wind chimes which I also purchased. I love wind chimes! Beautiful store, can't say anything about the flowers because I haven't bought any, but this store is definitely worth a look!

As Audrey Hepburn once said, ""To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." Every time I move somewhere, I plant... I plant a tree... I plant flowers. It's my way to show hope that one day I will find a place I can really call home... find a place I can plant my own roots into. Anyway, I digress... Laurie's has an extensive selection of items... it has plants and tree for sale... as well as outdoor decor like wind chimes, planters, outdoor thermometers, etc. It also sells other sundry items for sale including candles, barbecue sauces, margarita mixes and other items made naturally. Pretty cool! Unfortunately, it seems due to covid everyone else also had the idea of fixing up their garden so I was told their usual extensive selection had been greatly decreased. They were helpful enough to order some red planters that I wanted for my backyard and garden. I would have to unfortunately find plants somewhere else because they didn't have many left unsold but I certainly appreciated their help. The planters were beautiful! I will definitely come back from time to time as It will be well into next year until I get my backyard the way I want it. Wonderful place! Also, I love their cat they have on premises... such a sweet and friendly cat! The place also has a goat which I think is fun.

I stumbled upon this store way back in February/March during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. It was on of the stops and the moment I walked in the store, i gave an audible gasp. This place was beautiful! The decor was amazing! I was immediately imagining how it would look like in the house i was buying. I knew at that moment this store was dangerous... because it would separate me from my money in no time! I spoke with the owner of the store, Joanne, when i found out that they also did drapes. My new home came with some awfully garish drapes... purple drapes!?!?! Black drapes for a dining room? Ridiculous! I needed some new drapes and Joanne promised me she would show me some great options. She came to my new home and measured, she came up with someone wonderful ideas. During this time i also found out she was an interior designer. I just hired her to help me decorate the home and get me new drapes and decor to make my home beautiful. This was a great decision! Joanne has impeccable taste! She listens and understands the type of style her customers have... she then takes that and brings pieces that tastefully use that style to adorn and enrich your home. So much of my home decor now is from her store! I love how beautiful my home is!!!! Love it!!!!! If you are looking to change the drapes in your home... this is the place!
